DO NOT spend money with EA. You can lose access to all your games for no reason.
Algorithmic autoban. Had a teammate whose name included "TumbleWeed". Saying hi to Mr. Tumble Weed in chat counted as a "Drug and Alcohol reference" which led to the ban. I've been appealing it, but after two days and at least four updates where the "Last Updated" timestamp changed there's been no change. At the very least someone on their side worked on the case ticket, but left no public notes or resolution.
EVERY game I've bought with EA is currently unavailable to me.

When we moved to grocery deliveres during lockdown, we found that they kind of send you anything from the warehouse so nearly every week would have something a bit shoddy, dented or split open in our delivery. They deleted my account for 'inactivity' when I hadn't played for a year or two. Lost the couple of games I had. Customer support kept telling me they'd fixed it but were blatently lying to me - eventually all they offered was to delink my old EA account from my steam account and let me make a new one (sans the old games I owned). I really enjoyed Jedi: Fallen Order and was looking forward to the sequel but with customer service like that I'm just done.

Microsoft don't support officially any older Processors on Windows 11, mostly because of Spectre and Meltdown patches, Microsoft implements instead of the Motherboard manufacturerers. But you can run Windows 11 without those patches on an older Prozessor. Personally: Get a Linux and it is fixed. Ubuntu with Steam is easy.

A temporary ban is still a ban. A suspension implies a loss of privileges, not a total loss of access. Their terms are inaccurate. Moreover, read the text at the bottom. They absolutely WILL permaban me the next time it happens. It's automatic progression. Their system goes: Warning, 3 day ban (Earned that one for something I said in a full premade of close friends before I realized they audit all chat. It did not offend my friend, but oh well), 7 day ban (Saying a teammate's name), permaban.

It's because somebody reported you for some reason. These temporary bans are pretty much automatic if 1) there's a word that violates the EULA in *any* context and 2) someone reported you. It's likely there has been no human interaction with your case at any point and will not be. They simply don't address rectifying these temporary bans as awful as that is because you can't do anything about it in reality. Fuck EA

Don't you love it when systems look for strings only... I just love having to train people to go in after the 'ai' rejected all comments that have passion, compassion, honest and derivatives in them. We work for a service that relies on people being on the receiving end of all those and thus they crop into comments a ton.

I saw an Elden Ring player online called "Nasser" who was complaining his character name had been censored to "N***er" which is... just a little bit worse

Elden Ring also censored one of it's own starting class names (The Vagabond is "***abond" and literally any word with "ho" anywhere it in gets censored. I did however once summon someone with the username "I kill jungle babies" and that was apparently fine
