Hide the HUD if you want to take pretty pictures. You can do it from the Options menu

Ehhh... After playing Skyrim, all of the environments in Dark Souls feel kinda lackluster.

Got this game during the Steam sale... for some reason I can't seem to get DSFix working right as my game looks like SHIT. :(

Did you turn off the in game AA and motion blur? That can cause issues with DSfix.
