Little girl was interested in the potato peeling efforts happening, so my boyfriend offered her an entire tater of her own. Delicious, as it turns out. Unmute for some cronching.
The sprinkled donut pillow is in place of a cone of shame as she was just recently spayed.

https://www.purina.co.uk/articles/dogs/feeding/what-dogs-eat/can-dogs-eat-potatoes I thought you, or someone else wanting to try this should see this.
TL;DR cooked potatoes are fine, raw potatoes are bad.

Give her some apple, no seeds, next time. Raw potatoes mess with their gut and can cause kidney stones.

Thank you!

Does she sleep alright with the doughnut cone? My dog couldn't and was wheezing a bunch. It seems to be a common enough thing it has to have a use. But I ended up removing my dog's doughnut and staying up all night with him.
I'm wondering if I over complicated things. I do tend to do that.

She does! Usually just finds a pillow or cushion or sleeps with her head in the segment with no cushion. She wasn’t bothered by it in the least. But every pup is different!

Roll up a bath towel and put it under their head/face.

Yep. I over complicated things. Thank you! That will come in very handy if he ever needs another cone like that.
