Let's not pretend the past was perfect. Successful companies in the past killed their workers and some times their customers in the pursuit of profit. We owe it to everybody to remember that.
I people in the future to be saying "Big companies did nothing illegal or unjustified in the 2000s. This is some sort of new trend."
I want them to be saying "Things used to act illegally and unethically for most of their existence. It was a good thing when in the 2000s they were finally reigned in."
Less. You don't have to read Upton Sinclair, or know about child labor in mines and factories*, or understand that prior to the very end of the 1800's most laborers had damn near zero rights, nor a reasonable expectation of leaving work without being badly injured and then fired for it. However, the pendulum is swinging back.
This is how I feel about Trump tho- like is any new meme of Trump really any good actually? And then you have to see Trumps face- like if this place was less shortsy and less political.. .but god you literally can not escape this shit no matter what.

Make no mistake, the only real change here is that corporations have gotten more shamelessly open - or perhaps just more widely exposed - about this.

How many more times is this going to be reposted?
It isn't necessarily *wrong* but it's galling to see it on front page daily for nearly two weeks - and it wasn't new then.

This is the first time I've seen it.

If you desire a social media platform that doesn't produce aggregated content endlessly, I offer you nothing.

I'm just tired of the botspam. An individual, even a jerk, reposting stuff for fake internet points is less destructive.

Everyone is and yet most return to the addiction, including me. Hell, I've never posted, only commented.
