Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Donald Trump stood at Charlie Kirk's memorial that night and told tens of thousands of mourners, "I hate my opponents, and I don't want the best for them." The same day his administration announced it would tie Tylenol to autism. If either one has blurred into everything since, that is the point.
Do You Remember? at govbrief.today/remember pulls one headline at random from the 8,984 I've written since January 2025, asks whether you remembered it, and gives you a link to share it. You can pick how far back it reaches, or ask it only for something good or for someone who fought back.
Testing it, one card that came up was Silverio Villegas González, 38, shot by an ICE agent at a traffic stop outside Chicago last September, minutes after dropping his child at daycare. Homeland Security said he dragged an agent and seriously injured him. On police bodycam the agent called it "nothing major." I wrote that headline and still had to click "I forgot." Flooding the zone works. Rest in peace, Silverio.
I've emailed 8,984 stories over 583 straight nights, free and without ads. The algorithm can't show them all to you. Add your email address at govbrief.today and I will.

Thanks as always, keep 'em flying.

#3. Probably because his handlers don't want him to know that Greenland isn't as big as he thinks it is.

#10 - I think we can bet excavators will be on site and digging soon regardless of what any judge has ordered. SOP for this lawless administration.

"Do You Remember" sounds very cool. I'm a little afraid to see how I do. Thank you!

#1….just what in the actual fuck, man?
SpacemanSpiff1000
#5 I read the article, but I still don't understand exactly what private information the US is asking for. Also, why is the US requesting data of private citizens in Africa to the point where these nations are declining financial aid due to it being against their privacy laws?
Nooooooooooooooooooooo

How is it legal for Jared to meet with Putin on behalf of the US?

I hate this, i typed a cogent response, but the blowback isnt worth the effort these days.
So +1 to the world surviving what comes next.

#2 Surely conservative Palestinian supporters won't fall for this a 4th time, right?!
...
Right?
yalczero
Well, they do hate mostly the same people so yes, they likely will.
floofnmeeps
I love this concept! I think not remembering, due to a daily flood of new horrors, is part of the problem. We're stuck in an endless loop
Kotarisu
It is also their intention and their playbook, if memory serves, Bannon called it "flood the zone."
TheWombatStrikesAgain
#3 Also called the whole vote "part of a radical ideological project", because of fucking course they did.
TheDoctorCrankenstein
typical of the far right to confuse scientific discourse as radical ideology.
Bastiroid
Do you know with what map projection they are going with instead of Merkator? Can’t find info on it
Bastiroid
Scratch that, I just found it. It’s the Equal Earth projection.
Kodan00
They would've voted yes if the new map woul've made the US seem bigger.
GeorgeBounacos
Yes, one of the ugliest marks that you really can't defend. There were six countries abstaining, but no one else voted no. That's the kind of factoid future teachers will use to show what a pariah the U.S. had become.
kit99aLucentum
US voted "no" because Trump's minions are too afraid to inform him about Greenland's true size since he's so fixated on it.
FelonyRaptor
I mean, that's not even very far fetched.

I'm not American but I upvote every single post of yours because the horrible things being done by the US dictatorship affects everyone in the world. Thank you for your work, and I hope better days are ahead of us.
PuzzledCompletely
Thank you. Do what you can where you are, to keep it from spreading, to help those hurt by what's going on, etc.
BearieBlue
Thank you @LDRcycles, and to all the other Imgurians here and abroad showing support. There's a growing resistance gaining traction that the world doesn't see because US media doesn't focus on it. Just because it doesn't get the notoriety it deserves doesn't mean it isn't effective and isn't causing ripple effects. It's going to be a long, hard road but there's still hope worth fighting for. And thank you @OP for keeping us informed (and including a "good news" section).
LittleAzie
I am American, and I upvote every single post because I fucking hate what this is doing to the world. The best I can do is protest and work on convincing my rural conservative neighbors of the actual threat and harms. Its not what I want to do, but its all I can do, and its working - I have seen Trump flags go down and democratic campaign sings go up.
