I only know a little ASL that my fluent but hearing wife taught me, but it is the most useful language ever. We can talk privately anywhere.

Wait i am intrigued, do they have good speech? If not how long was it before you learnt to talk.

you have to get used to the way they talk(at least for a stranger), my grandparents who weren't deaf, (1/2)

Cool, this means i could speak with a British accent and my kids would learn English with the accent.
