Just thought I'd give a tip and a mini-review about this actually wonderful machine. It's around $550 where I live, and it has literally everything you want from a robovac.
You fill it up with water and it does *Everything*. It mops with hot water (and washes the mop pads with detergent to prevent smell/mold). You can set various rooms to use more water if you want. The suction is strong and the roller is sturdy and cleans carpets perfectly. They also sell a "long hair" roller with scissors built in.
Importantly, it has a front facing camera that detects stuff on the ground to avoid. My old roborock frustrated me a Lot because I'd let it vacuum when I went out, get home and see it's stuck on either clothes or wires *Again*.
Best part is that I've noticed that you just don't have to dust nearly as often (1/3rd maybe?). I can only assume we kick up a lot of dust in the air when we move around our homes, and that lands on furniture. But if there's no dust there due to fucking *Expert* cleaning, well, what's there to kick up?

Nah, was just appreciative when I noticed I haven't cleaned my piano black TV bench in like 5-6 weeks lol. It's a dust magnet.

FYI, the camera is also used together with the lidar to create a map of your house, which gets uploaded to the company servers if you like any good consumer have this thing connected to the internet to make full use of the app.

Most devices you cannot setup and use without WiFi. It’s a requirement basically

Just need a modern home without the high doorsteps and no carpets. Most of my home work for these, except the living room where i like to have a nice carpet under the sitting area which makes it practically useless

If it's one of those very thick rugs with 'dreads' I guess just take the L and set a no-go zone for that area.

Basically what i did, but the intelligence of their path finding is rather lacking too, so the narrow strip between kitchen and the other rooms that ends up being from this is something it struggled so much with that i spent more time kicking them to different zones than if i just did it by hand

Seems like a problem that'll be solved by eventually getting a new rug tbh.
