I actually did the math; if we assume Elon would want to hand pick literally every member of Congress, and every single campaign would cost as much as the most expensive campaign for a house candidate in history (AIPAC spending 15 million to defeat Jamal Bowman this year) it would cost a little over 8 billion in total, which is less than 2% of his wealth.
