The handcuff key fits very well in the belt loop in the small of your back. It is the place most overlooked during a patdown/search, because that is where your hands will be. It is also the place which takes the least amount of movement to retrieve the key. Be advised, if they have your name/identification, using the key in this way will likely result in more charges.

3D print, or make a mold and pour melted plastic in then pop put the cast.

#9 I came to the conclusion that softener and dryer sheets were unnecessary, long before any millennials were born. I would guess that a majority of bachelor men who figured out laundry for themselves came to the same conclusion.
brcpo9
Correct.
YesButMaybe
indeed. I think millennials are simply smart enough to know softener and sheets are pointless, unnecessary, or don't work as advertised. And softener (some more than others) tends to add build-up on performance fabrics rendering them non-ish-functional or damage the stretchy fibers.
joleeen
#1 I’ve seen handcuff keys disguised as jacket buttons. They’re cut into a regular button and you pop it out like car parts on model car kits.

#15 south is one thing, but SW, not enough water. Even with the gargantuan system of siphoning to get SoCal the water it has, it's not enough. Especially since so much growth occurred and was planned for in what were higher rainfall years, i seem to have heard? Ok, it was CJ on the West Wing, but droughts in that region can go on for decades or centuries.

#9 also a balled up wad of aluminum foil helps. From my previous research on this a while ago, the wool balls help separate the clothes, creating better air flow which helps dry faster. Also adding a wad of aluminum foil helps the static from the cloth’s rubbing together. But yes spread this recipe bc laundry detergents and dryer sheets are just filled with bad chemicals that sit against your biggest organ (skin) practically 24-7.
GimcrackGewgaw
Modern laundry detergent is way more effective than that homemade stuff. Enzyme research has changed the game.
MoopsyLD
like its a good sentiment but they know we know how to DIY so they just make it much better. hence the pods creation. they will go to lengths to modify and better their formula so we go to them or we can get the baseline effective versions.
imguronefive
And if you buy the unscented / "sensitive skin" kind of laundry detergent, they don't include the crap perfume.
Karilyn
Perfume makes me itch like crazy.
CatskinnerKeen
This.
We use homemade, mostly, but we spot apply modern for stains.

#5 Do not dry is tough.
"You must keep this garment at least slightly damp at all times, forever!"
HypoHyperHippo
Came here to say this. Glad I'm not the only one who is trying to figure out the logistics.
gobblinal
I was gonna say "Do Not Dry in Dryer" but there's already a symbol for that so now I dunno what to think. As "one of *those* people" I can only imagine it's there for completeness should anyone ever design a garment (for cetaceans?) where that symbol is needed.

#1 If they have you in cuffs, they know who you are or can easily find out based on bodycam/cruiser footage which is resisting/fleeing if you use it, and if it's found on your person when you enter booking you'll face additional charges. its also straight up a felony in florida if caught with one. By carrying and using one you also deprive yourself of the multi million dollar settlement when they inevitably violate your rights because they're too psychotic not to.
unluckyandbored
In addition, even with a key it is WAY harder to bust yourself out of cuffs than you think it is. You're either going to drop it (because you're going to be screwing with this thing behind your back, blind) or they're gonna see you monkeying around and catch you.
101Medic
Especially if the keys has no prong to undo the lock switch on most cuffs. I know Smith and Wessons and Peerless have them at any rate.
sh17picker69000420
Not to mention if they find you uncuffed after having cuffed you they WILL ruff you up a bit more when resecuring you.
rezurok
Not to mention if cuffs are applied properly it's extremely difficult to put the key in. They're meant to be put on with the back of your wrists together, and tight enough that it makes accessing the keyholes nearly impossible. If you have the foresight to get arrested with a friend, then maybe you'd be able to use the key on each other, but even then...to what end? This isn't a video game where once you get free of your restraints you power up and beat the game.
TheDefective
But if they've unlawfully detained you with rape and murder in their hearts, it lets you get away so... weigh your faith in the courts against your ability to defeat a mechanism.
poochyena
If you are already cuffed, you aren't getting away even with a key. Attempt to flea after being cuffed means you'll have 0% chance of getting bail.
FaeVikingPrincess
I've seen people get away while still cuffed
sirleoiii
that depends very much on the situation. I think you are thinking of a situation where there are either multiple cops or even one cop and they are arresting just you. In that situation I think you are 100% correct. But at a protest you may have four cops handcuffing 20 people, and they may not even be processing you at the protest so they don't have your information (and you shouldn't be bringing ID to a protest anyways). Yes, I wouldn't have these on my on my day to day, but I do have a few.
BrickSprickly
This is why they use plastic zip cuffs for protests
TheDefective
Spoken like someone who's not gone hog dancing. Breonna Taylor Was Sleeping. Alex Pretti was helping a woman up, Daniel Shaver Was struggling to comply with conflicting orders, Renee Good was leaving.
SteveTheEgg
You make their point for them. At what point did any of those people have a chance to use a handcuff key?
fubizdaddie
At what point did them not being prepared help them? At what point would not being prepared help anyone? Yeah, those people wouldn't have been able. I might not be able. I'd rather be prepared in case I'm able, and no idiot like you is going to convince me that I should be initiated just because someone else was unjustly killed. That's ridiculous, and you're acting like a clown.
TheDefective
I'm saying that you can't trust that the system or the law will comport themselves within the boundaries of the law.

“The law, in its majestic equality, forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal their bread.”
― Anatole France
supergreenpasta
none of those people were handcuffed. ICE detainment is the only time I can imagine it being worth the risk- since you won't got to court, just get deported.
TheDefective
The point isn't that they were handcuffed, the point is that they were extrajudicially murdered?

Is there one for other languages? Like throughout Asia and Africa?

See the gap in Finno-Ugric languages? Those are tribes that were viped out by Slavs and later Russians (Russians are a mix of Finnic and Slavs, thus many of them are blonde etc.) Speaking about "white"/Western Russians mainly.
