Beauty photos is mostly used to better display the makeup artist and hair stylist work as well as the model’s natural beauty.

It also is often used in an advertising for makeup products and jewelry.

I don’t take pictures for living, but it’s a nice hobby to have, and who knows, maybe one day it will become a profession. COVID took its toll on my ability to do photoshoots keeping all the team safe, but we really hope situation will take a better turn in 2022.

No, it’s not photoshopped. The whole picture including effects is made as a single shot.

This one was shot in the middle of the winter night. One can make any light in the studio if they know what they’re doing.

I’ve never shown any of my photography work to wide public besides obvious Instagram account, so please be nice.

Look me up for more photos at https://instagram.com/cyberbobs

Stay safe, Imgur, and hope y’all have a great day.

Still, you couldn't make them smile. A woman is more beautiful if she smiles. Resting bitch face is boring.

Step 1: Work with a beautiful model.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Absolutely true.

Use of lighting is absolutely a work of art on its own, & you seem to have an undeniable talent in using light to your advantage. Good job!

Thank you very much! I got a course in studio lighting in a local photo school, so this is a skill one could learn.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Well sure, but I think they are right, you have a talent for it.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'd say! These are super unique & I love your no photo-shop approach! Too many things are photo shopped & it's like, what's the point then.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you so much! Don't get me wrong, all this pictures are retouched, but I really try to do a delicate retouching without the modern 1/

"slap more filters on this" look. 2/2

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well keep it up, these are awesome!!

#3 is my favorite, very subdued color to match with the flowers

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I still like it a lot too! We made a whole shoot with the flowers and color lighting and even published it in a small magazine.

Your photos blow mine out of the water

#7 what an awesome shot, the lighting effects are very cool

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Thank you! This special effect shots are a lot of fun and a great creative playground, though it requires insane amounts of preparation.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Also my favorite! It's the most interesting.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Do you do the makeup?!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope. That’s a several pro makeup artists doing. As a matter of fact, I’m married to one, so me and my wife make a perfect team together.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nice and creative pictures. You definitely got talent. Only thing I don`t like is the framing, you cut everyone`s head or arms out of frame

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That’s why this genre is called a beauty portrait - pictures are so close you could see the skin texture and makeup in all the details.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fair enough.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Would it be alright to draw one of your photos?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Tag me if you remember me, I'd give you an upvote and an accolade. I want to see your drawings

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wow, this is new, no one ever asked this before. Sure, it’s fine as long as you credit the original work.

#6 This is absolutely lovely. Thanks!

Beautiful!

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I know how pretty you have to be, to be a model. If you can make these girls look this ethereal, you could make even me look interesting.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Not gonna lie, all the girls pictured are the professional models, but the model standards are wider now than they ever were. With photos 1/

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

this close there’s a limit to what retouching could do to get natural looking results. Take good care of yourself and your skin and who 2/

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

knows, maybe we will meet at the studio for the cover shoot some day. 3/3

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah, not hardly. I'm way too old to get into the industry. Best case scenario, I'd have someone doing pictures of an interview, after my>

Book gets published, but even that's extremely unlikely.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’ve noticed larger eyebrows coming back. As a dude with some brows, ??.

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Natural eyebrows are the best eyebrows.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It’s back and will hopefully stay that way. Cara Delevingne became one of the hottest models like 10 years ago and she looks pretty eyebrowy

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

So no more razor thin unnatural eyebrows. Grooming is still the key tho, may I say so as a fellow hairy male.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yeah, hairs that look like they lost track of where an eyebrow suppose to be go, hairs in the brow stay. Monobrow best avoided

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

As a lady, this is my own brow policy :P I reckon yours is similar.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That’s a pretty solid universal tips. The more natural the better, as long as it looks accurate.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good stuff! I absolutely suck at artificial lighting & guiding models so don't even know what to appreciate here except the quality. :'D

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ofc the quality alone doesn't a professional make! I've dabbled as a generic freelancer but never sold myself as a pro photog, for I know I

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

couldn't handle the deadlines, stress and overall consistency. So I've limited myself to occasional stock photos. :)

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Deadlines can be a bitch but you know what? No one expects you to deliver in a single day. This pictures take 30m to 3h processing each 1/

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

so I usually finish and give everyone a link to cloud folder in 7-10 days. There wasn't a time anyone was unhappy with that.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is a skills one could learn. I signed myself to photo school even before I got a good camera and some lenses. Great teachers help a lot

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've had a brilliant teacher at my vocational graphics -school, but the class was limited to analog shooting (not compatible with my ADHD) &

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

how to cope with limitations of the consumer grade digital cameras… So it's been a while. :'D Scratched the surface of photojournalism!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Besides I get nervous in the presence of beautiful people!
