Do not feed your dogs pedigree. My dog has been eating it for a year and just had a seizure from it. Scariest 3 minutes of my life.
Vet did tests on liver, kidney, and blood (very pricy). All three came back clean. Then he asked about the food. Red dye 40 is known to cause seizures in dogs. My little buddy almost died (well, it felt that way) and all because I wanted to use the cheapest food. Follow this advice. Down vote me to hell. Get bent. I don't care. Just want people to get their pets quality food and hopefully avoid one of the scariest nights of my 25 year old life. Cheers to my dog getting better food and not having any more seizures.

one of my dogs has severe allergies. we give her dick van pattens grain free, the bison variety. it did wonders for her.

Tractor Supply Co. is awesome. My dog has grain allergies and grain free food can be expensive. 30lb bag of 4Health grain free is about $42

I've read numerous consumer reports saying that BB isn't any better. But I suppose as with most things, it's a case-by-case basis.
