So far to go, good thing I started in June.

Mail, the lengthiest part of the entire project.

Belt = done. Almost.

Time to start the sleeves.

X 2 mind you

Ended up with strictly bracers, the glove bit proved to be uncomfortable and impractical.

Bracers completed.

The only part I cheated and used a sewing machine on, attaching the inner trim. I did hand stitch the outside.

More mail to cover the ragged ends, and testing ornamentation.

Nearing completion.

Test run.

Couldn’t carry a normal purse around.

Done.

Actually did my hair on a plane returning from a business trip to Houston.

Almost ready, I look so thrilled.

Even though everyone assumed I bought it, I had a great time.

Floki and Lagertha in my front yard. Well worth the journey, I learned a lot along the way. Can’t wait to start making next year’s costume. :)
