Scout Veruc .22 Custom

I used a S&W M&P 15/22, a Nerf N-Strike Elite Retaliator, some PVC, Bondo, Scupley, and a whole lot of spray paint to make this Borderlands inspired rifle. It looks like it came straight out of a videogame and definitely turns heads at the range.

GUys.... its a fucking modded nerf gun.

The Nerf range?

That looks like an orange on Borderlands

That is nice. Any issues with barrel heat?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No issues whatsoever. It's a .22 so it doesn't generate a lot of energy anyway, and the barrel is PVC so it's fairly heat resistant.

Gotta say, the pistol grip from a Nerf gun would be pretty neat on an AR-15. Not sure about the rest, but whatever floats yer boat.

Hopefully you are as responsible as you are talented

wait so that's a real gun? it can kill people? :X

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yes. It fires 22LR rounds.

does it turn heads at the range because it shoots darts?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Turns heads at the range because they're probably expecting it to shoot darts and it instead goes BANG!

Real guns that look like toys... that's a good idea.

THats a fucking nerf gun.

Nooooo.....

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's definitely a real fake gun. Unless you know Nerf guns chambered in .22LR man.

Shit like this is why children with toy guns get shot. I say this as a person who does in fact support the right to bear arms.

There's a big difference between a kid with a blatantly obvious toy, and a military-aged male (who's actually military) with, well, THIS.

There was a recent case where a kid got shot for just not dropping it fast enough, without pointing it at anyone.

The weapon in that case was a fairly realistic-looking airsoft gun, so I get where the cop was coming from.

So, if you value your child's life, don't leave them untrained.
