My local store has been practically giving away prepackaged deli produce. I haven't got poops yet. ;)

Can't even live up to the expectation unless you get an employee discount.

Congrats on the food! I LOVE going into Aldi's 20min before close, seems like Wednesday night the deals are a-plenty!

It looks like the last sale date is 08/27, which is today in my part of world. Good luck, and ... let us know how it all comes out.

The 8/27 is the day the Kroger employee marked those down, with the "best by" as 8/28. I work dairy and depending on the product, and the algorithm, I mark stuff down much sooner than that. Kroger has a very strong mark down culture based on product date codes.

I've been eating this way for a month. I love food emergencies. I eat cheap while the media freaks out.

Good to hear. Looks like a tasty variety, as well! I like a good bargain, and have even asked for a discount on "day of" or damaged box items at my Aldi. There is a large vegetable market nearby that primarily sells to restaurants, so bigger bags or boxes: great deal to get 5 lbs of carrots for price of 1lb or 2lb on sale in franchise store, and usually fresher as product turnover is high.

All of that is just bullshit. If you believe it, well, stupid is as stupid does.
