These Romanian troops now fighting as allies with the Soviets come across a wayside shrine.
After the 1944 Romanian coup d'état led King Micheal I of Romania in August 1944, Ion Antonescu would be deposed and the Romanian Armies would be given orders to defend themselves from attacks by Hungarian and German troops.
The Romanian troops would now also be allied with the Soviet troops and actively take part in the invasion of Hungarian occupied territories as well as Hungary and German occupied Czechoslovakia.
