The picture says it all....

Last month I made this post alone with the Amazon Wishlist for my sister's employer. Imgur came through in amazing fashion... they received close to $300 in cash donations, pallets of food and all sorts of donations.

These dogs were going to be seized from a breeder and she (along with some fellow staff members) were on their way to the breeder, only to be told when they got there that the situation that made the dogs subject to surrender had been "resolved". Unfortunately as dogs are considered property they had no way of knowing how it had been resolved but it probably wasn't in a manner they had hoped.

They went back and forth with this breeder several more times before the Department Of Agriculture got involved and they were finally able to get the breeder shut down. Even after they had seized the dogs there was still a chance the breeder could get them back but that appears to not be the case now.

Cat tax... this is Harrington, we adopted him in October and he is VERY aware of how incredibly dapper he is.

Bonus Doggo Tax! This is Riley; we adopted her last month. She loves snuggling and roughhouseing with Harrington and Max, our eight-year old Golden Retriever.

EDIT THE SECOND: Wow. Thank you all for your support. My sister has been blown away by the kindness Imgur has shown to her orginization and is incredibly grateful. I've asked her to snap a picture of the donations when they've all arrived, which she said she'll try to do. I'll also share the relase from the rescue on this situation when they release it.
