Mosquitos don't like strong smells. Anything helps. Dryer sheets. Menthol rub. Actual bug spray! Damn that's that to be terrible. Post bite. If you heat up the bit the part that compound that causes irritation breaks down. Heat a spoon or in your case a heating pad on high to your limbs.

Thanks. This was a few years ago in Panama. Isolated beach in the middle of the night, no artificial light, watching for nesting sea turtles. Don't know what the bugs were but of 4 people I was the only one to get devoured like this
