This one was my final exam piece. It's a drawing of my own eye and it took me 10 bloody hours to do! (Please excuse the pale vertical stripes, pretty sure my scanner was being deliberately spiteful)

My godfather's dog, Sheba. (I'm far too excited by the fact that the background of this drawing pretty much exactly matches the imgur background! Does anyone else find that exciting? No...? Ok then)

Man, I did GCSE art and I was nowhere near this standard. In fact I've deteriorated so much my stick men even look drawn by a 4 year old

Do you take commissions? I have always wanted a drawing of myself but I don't know anyone who wants to draw me.

I don't currently do commissions I'm afraid! There's a possibility that I might do in the future though. Also I'm not very good at 1/2

drawing human faces, so unless you have fur or you want a super-close up of your eye, I don't think I could draw you very well! 2/2

really good! keep going! Maybe use a bit more contrast in the surroundings of the eyes (darker etc, to make them pop out more) :)

Thanks for the suggestion! Yeah I can never get the skin around the eye to look right - the iris comes much more naturally

the irises were amazing, really realistic and full of volume! I know that pencils are hard to get a good flow and strong color from.

Do it! I did it and it's a great way to make money on the side. Open an etsy shop or something, it's beneficial and enjoyable
