Well, that fantasy will never happen, so what's your plan B? You can't just shout STOP IT GUYS IM SUPER SERIAL and suddenly everyone just "stops emitting". Civilizations take energy, and construction, energy generation results in emissions, construction generates emissions. Telling everyone to stop emitting means stop generating energy, stop building houses, stop having a civilization. Until a real plan is put forward, you're just screaming into the void and virtue signaling.

Effectively this is saying that reducing output by 64% of the current total would still not be enough. I bet it would help quite a bit. Nevertheless, emissions shall never be reduced, no targets shall ever be hit, and the human population shall plummet dramatically in a couple hundred years. If I were to be around to see it, I'd place bets.

Here's a question. How much more can the countries that produce less than 2% each actually reduce beyond what they're already at, while still maintaining a functioning economy and providing necessary services to their citizens?
Now, how much could China and the US reduce in comparison? I'd wager it'd be a good deal more.

That's a stupid question. A good question is "How much more can we emit before we risk the entire civilization?". We're very close to that number.

I get it, you're all in on your position and can't contemplate the idea that you are likely wrong in who you're targeting your vitriol towards, but that doesn't change the fact that your logic is flawed.
The fact that China alone nearly matches your "rest of the world", and that China + the US exceeds your "rest of the world" should've told you that.
I'll make it simple. China can reduce global emissions significantly more by itself than most of those "rest of the world" nations combined.
