He's made $4b and got a new plane since being elected. The economy is doing great!

All those people who voted tor him "cause he's good at business" need to read this exchange over and over and over until they understand that this fuckass knows jack shit about anything.

At one point Bessent was saying "Oh come on, this is just a little short-term pain to ensure Iran doesn't have nukes. What do you think would happen to the global economy if Iran nuked London, huh?"

Ya. I bet that if Iran did develop a nuclear weapon, their first priority would be to nuke London for some fucking reason, because surely the British are their enemy #1, and get obliterated in a retaliation strike.

Start burning yachts.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They are all insured, they’ll just buy upgrades. The only way that might work is if the yachts are all full. Even then, who knows. They don’t seem to care much about anyone, even family.

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think he buys his own gas, so saying "$4.00" means nothing to him. You could say something like +46% and he would probably get it..

The stock market has been doing REALLY well since the USA started its counter blockade of the Strait. We're back to focussing on the circle jerk of AI/hardware/infrastructure companies giving each other money. Oracle has gone up 30% in the last 5 days, AMD, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, a whole bunch of AI-affiliated companies have gone up. The market realized that higher oil prices just meant higher profits for oil companies, so they stopped caring.

Ronald McDonald Pedo Prez Gump has never had to struggle or really work a day in his life. The polar opposite of a "man of the people". Sanders and Mamdani get it.

How much could a banana cost anyway, ten dollars?

Suck it up America. Australians are paying up to $AU3.30 per litre for diesel. That is $US8 per US gallon. Same with Europe and England. You still have very cheap fuel. Stop whining.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why was it so high before this straight issue?

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Federal fuel tax of 52c per litre (about $1.70 per US gallon). But even without that, it's still $6 per US gallon. Australia can now only produce about 20% of our liquid fuel needs so we rely on imports of refined product from Singapore and Asian refineries. It's a long way to ship and then to distribute around a very big country.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh I see. You don’t have much of your own oil. I’m so sorry to hear that it’s so high there! I hi

here gas is now 12usd/gallon. Thank you americans.

I mean you're talking to a man who's never been to a gas station in his entire life, let alone filled a car with gas.

The stock market only really helps people with wealth. https://youtu.be/g93iq5wTV-g?is=k1dYTYADaGI6FWYl

I find it hard to believe anyone thought he cared about inflation or gas prices. But some of these morons voted for him 3x.

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Now tRUmp thinks it only costs $4 to fill up your tank.

4 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I saw a post where a MAGA guy said it didn’t affect him because he only ever puts $20 in his tank.
::::raises an eyebrow::::

These people not only vote, they have offspring.

The sad part is, not enough regular people seem to understand the current disconnect between the economy and the stock market. The markets are acting like the last year or so, didn't happen and there will be no effect from it.

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He does not know what a corner store is. Did you really think he has ever pumped gas by himself into his own car?

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Has he ever driven a car?

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He thought he brought back the word “groceries”! You don’t get much more out of touch with the common man.

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Do you think that Trump has ever, in his entire spoiled asshole life, ever once thought of the price of gas? Just one time.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks for including the source. The best argument against Trump is Trump's own words.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Welcome.

Trump thinks the stock market is the economy

4 months ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 1

So does every other rich person and every media organization. They don't actually give a fuck about anything but the Dow and the NASDAQ or BALLSAQ or whatever the fuck it is.

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

most wealthy people consider the market to be the economy which is why most americans have been slowly doing worse since the mid 70s

4 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

What's really sad is how many non-wealthy Americans also stupidly believe that the stock market is an accurate indicator of the economy's status while their very lives prove otherwise.

4 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

To him and his buddies, it is.

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He literally does. It literally makes less sense the more you look into it: if the stock market goes up 1%, it's not like you have 1% more money in your pocket, your investment went up 1%. It's not like it's money instantly in your pocket. This is a person that's gone bankrupt seven or eight times because he literally doesn't not understand money and investments. (Trump in his current term has added $8 Trillion to the debt, not counting the Iran war).

4 months ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Well he has always lived by “if you owe the bank a million that’s your problem, if you owe a billion it’s theirs” except his actions now directly affect the whole concept of money, in addition to natural resources. Something his dad never laundered into one of his casinos

I think it should be mandatory to end Trump quotes with "Screamed the stable boy"

Remember kids, always replace "the economy" with "rich people's yacht money."

4 months ago | Likes 356 Dislikes 2

In this rich people's yacht money?

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used "rich people's feelings" for The Economy

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Given that this sentiment is roughly 10 years old, I hope nobody is too late to this sentiment.

They dont pay for anything, so they dont know how to manage money. They have someone who does it and they just walk around and live. They don't even carry a wallet.

Did you see the Uber-Granny propaganda? He tried to push her into saying a lot of positive things and she said, “ I’m here to talk about tax on tips”. She’s having to drive because her husband has cancer and they need the money for his treatments and medication. Trump tipped her a $100, looked like he’d never touched money before when he pulled it out of his pocket, all folded up. $100? I could’ve tipped her that…seems like the billionaire could’ve given her much more for CANCER TREATMENTS!

4 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Sorry, it was “Door Dash” not Uber. I should’ve known that, we Door Dash in between work to help with finances. Just so infuriating. https://youtu.be/wqpshID63YM?si=JZSCAvL9d78gcx5-

4 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

She's also a plant from the Reps to try and distract people.

4 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah, she doesn't actually work for door dash full time and is probably paid quite well getting shipped around to do talking points.

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She's literally a paid actor for them.

4 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I’ve seen. I didn’t know that at the time. Even trump said it was a dumb thing he had to do to for publicity.

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A leader reluctant to acknowledge hardship is never good

4 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

He can't acknowledge something he thinks doesn't exist. Paradoxically, the only thing he does acknowledge is his own genius.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm mystified that people defend that behavior

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

All the rape and pedophilia are probably bad signs, too.

4 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I was trying not to antagonise but yup... Completely true, and probably worse

4 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No, you're definitely right. Can you believe it was only 2004 when Howard Dean was disqualified as unpresidential for yelling funny? One time?

4 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Very true. I can come up with a whole lot more examples
