Trump wants people to be afraid of him. Don’t be afraid. Mock him.

Immigrants today are the Jews of the 1930s. Be kind to immigrants.

Trump wants us to hate DEI and the people who are part of it. Don’t hate.

Trump lacks empathy. Be empathetic. Tell stories about empathy and good deeds.

MAGA is anti-science. Read up on science. Many libraries have entertaining and informative science books written for young adults.

Get science- and doctor-approved vaccines. Get them for your children.

When you think that wearing a mask is appropriate (as during some pandemics), wear a mask.

Enjoy the arts. We don’t yet have ballets about OUR GREAT LEADER.

If you can, write and perform protest songs.

Vote with your pocketbook. Learn the people who and the companies that support Trump and spend your money elsewhere.

Stay informed.

Trump is freezing funding, and he will take credit for later unfreezing some funding. If you stay informed, you will recognize this for the con it is.

Many of us are loners, but if you can and are willing to, organize. Try to start a union, or to organize a protest. Volunteer for your local political party.

Marches and demonstrations matter. If they don’t occur, MAGA will take that as a sign of approval. (Or will pretend to.)

Write politicians. If you don’t, MAGA politicians will take that as a sign of approval. (Or will pretend to.)

Ignore the people who say that none of this will solve the problem. These things will help solve the problem. Assume that the people telling you online to do nothing are bots. Assume that the people standing in front of you and telling you to do nothing are defective AI robots.

Educate yourself and your children. What info is Trump censoring? That’s the info you need to study.

Educate others. Social media, with all its problems, can be a way to educate people.

Fight out who is fighting the good fight and support and follow them.

Study and know your rights.

Live outside the box if you want to and if you can. Live your best life.

Vote.

Have a passport just in case.

What gets me is how he just signs all the EO's, and everyone's like "ok, we'll follow it until we later find out if it's legal or not." It's absurd. If you are an American citizen you will not be deported. You could be detained, but if you can prove your citizenship you will be released, it's pretty simple.
