Cuts out the bitterness of dark roasts, great way to taste the coffee properly too. Only needs a couple of drops

Does any of the lemon cut through? Wouldn't the lemon just make the coffee more acidic?

Not if you only use a few drops, you can use a little more for a dark roast. It is a little trial and error to suit how bitter you like it

If I remember, coffee is naturally a base anyways. Might just neutralize each other.
