You know it's full when stops flowing
A creek that flows into the river that has started flowing in the wrong direction.
Backwater
Lots of debris to jam up culverts.
It happens.
When mother nature does what she wants things like this happens.
More backwater.
...and more debris.
Another road flooded.
I've seen it worse.
The Sabine is full to the brim.
It's only yards away from the edge of the road....still, I've seen it much worse.
So much water!
It's amazing and frightening at the same time. Good people have lost their lives in this river when it's flooding like this. It's not a place to fool around when the water is up this high. Remember that Mother Nature can and will kick your ass if you piss her off. Everyone take care this New Years. Happy New Years from Louisiana, USA!

There was more .... Bonus flood water. Forgot animal tax. Maybe there's a critter in one of these pics for tax?

You should put something in the road to keep ppl from driving into the water at night when they can't see it.

I would, but I'm only a rural mail carrier. No worries though, our parish road crew was doing just that.
