Step 1: Acquire new FNX 45
Step 2: Go to FastCap, the people who make kaizen foam (they are local for me but you can buy from them online), and buy some sheets of the stuff. Trace gun and extra mags leaving room for future accessories
Step 3: Cut out your foam with a sharp knife, emphasis on sharp, dull blades make this stuff no fun.
Step 4: Install in the used Pelican 1400 case you bought off of Ebay
Step 5: Lay your baby in it's new cradle, sit back, and admire your work.

It won my heart over the Sig P320 and I love Sigs. I didn't like how smooth the grips were on the P320 and they don't have a threaded barrel

yeah, it's a large gun though, and those mags hold 15 so they aren't small either. I can always reconfigure it if I don't like it

how much does the foam cost roughly? i know the cases arent cheap, but custom foam inserts is a great idea

a sheet 2'x4' costs about $15 depending on thickness, 20mm, 30mm, or 57mm. Since I got mine from the source they guy gave me a discount
