About two or three years ago, I posted an album with this picture! It made the front page with others showing how I made it and the work that went into it.
I made it for the Louisiana Renaissance Festival where I am a member of Renaissance Living History Center, a non-profit that demonstrates historical crafts... Crafts such as....

As this was the first thing I ever made, I did NOT make the corset, and started to make the Farthingale but it was ripped by a helper.

They are meant to be detachable (they tie on) and it was hot that day. We were teaching dance to girl scouts. someone almost passed out.

The hat, yes. The rest was a basic pattern that we altered a bit. Margo Anderson pattern a friend had.

The green fabric came from Texas... the golden trim was from Hancock fabrics and the other pretty fabric was something we just had.
