Feeling bad for my pup
Yesterday he had to have his eye removed due to a tumor
Other side. He seems to be in good spirits
Right before the surgury
Callen hanging out with my 6mo old son and yes it was a pose for the picture normally they are both moving to fast to get one.
Big dog in a little car
He is a big 120lb German Shepherd and a good friend. I know his pain will subside and he will be back to watching over my wife, my son, my other dog, and my four cats soon.

Most animals aren't actually impressed when a body part of them is missing. They just go on with what they always do. Doggo will be fine! ;)

Mother-in-law's dog also had an eye removed because of a tumor. Once it healed there was no more pain and she still has pretty good vision.

Teach your kid not to approach on his blind side. Had a one eyed dog when I was growing up and got a few nips doing that and startling him.

He is a tough dog, the vet said a little blood if he gets excited is normal. I try to keep him as calm as possible

I had to have my dog's eye taken out because it was badly damaged. He is so much happier now- it was hurting him! My best to this doggie!

My retriever had to have an eye removed - adapted really quickly. Was a happy dog for a long while afterwards.

It's true. We had a one eyed yellow lab who got his eye hit out with a baseball bat as a pup. Was one of the best bird dogs I've ever seen.
