Waffles the Sheep

Sorry for the sappy sob story but I wanted to share.
I went through a very sudden break up a while back, and suffered quite a bit mentally. One day, my friends and I were at Value Village and one of them spied a giant, fluffy sheep. Long story short, I cried a bit, bought him, and I named him the first thing that came to mind in that moment: Waffles.

These are some of the adventures I've taken him on.

Waffles likes to help around the house. He helped up with our bathroom renovation.

He also would travel with us to visit family, fitting conveniently underneath the seat in front of me (kinda). I can't even begin to describe the reactions I get when carrying him through the air port.

His first day of spring wasn't the most splendid one, but I'm sure he didn't mind. He's very easy going.

Waffles answers the call of the wild. He makes a wonderful snuggle buddy during those cold nights.

When my boyfriend at the time left me, I felt like my life was over. I struggled to eat, bathe, get out of bed... all that stuff... I was a mess. Depression had consumed me.

The day I saw Waffles at Value Village was possibly the happiest I had felt since the break up. True, genuine joy filled me.

I mean, look at this goof. He's stuck on his back because he's so fat. What's not to love?

From then on, things changed. When I reverted into my depressive moods, Waffles was there. I remember feeling suddenly very lost when I was crying and Waffles was not with me. I remember nights where I would just sit in bed feeling nothing while I held onto him. I can't tell you how many tears have been soaked into his fluff. But he's still here. I'll take him on as many adventures as I can. Through ups and downs.

TL;DR... Everyone needs a Waffles in their life.
