The clear lock made understanding what I was doing super easy
Using the pressure bar to keep tension on trying to turn the key slot while raking the pins with one of the lock pick tools was very easy.
This is the actual set I used to learn how to pick a Master Lock in under 5 minutes
A friend from work brought in this set and let me tinker with it. In less than 5 minutes I was able to successfully pick the Master Lock you see in the picture. It was fun enough to make me order a set online as soon as I got home from work.
Now I'm actually looking forward to buying more challenging practice locks and maybe even taking on the locks on my front door and around the house.

picking is rather easy. Best advice I can give a noob, practice the "feel" for the pins. Too, less force works better, tension or picks.

A hammer right below the lock , on the side will open them right up. Yes its destroyed in the process. It bends the side in and wont relock.

You can find plenty of locks that people are selling without keys. They can be reused with different pins and such.

"Bumping" is a common weakness of most normal locks. You really need high security locks which start at $75 each.
