FALLOUT 4: "The Investigationing" Part Deux: Post E3 2015

Warning: long post ahead, beware of my hype level. I will be looking at most of the new features of fallout 4, including creatures, weapons, and more! Are you ready to get on my level of hype train? Then follow me, and you shall see a world of puuurreee post-apocalyptic shi-hit.

The new bangin' Pip-Boy

Damn, look at it. It's sexy, clean, and most of all, advanced. If you look on the bottom you can see a health bar, AP bar, and a "perk chart". Not sure what a "perk chart" is. Other than that, check that moving stuff out! Oh... wait, It's just a picture. Well, the Vault Boy does move, believe me! Some other things on it I will get to later (the "shock" and "radiation" thing on armor stats).

Weapons!!! Glorious Weapons!

Oh. My. God. I can't even. Really. Just watch the trailer to see that customization, because I can't even explain it's awesomeness.
Next to all that stuff, are the stats, including that "shock" thing again! Hmmm... Oh wait, that means it does 47 Energy Damage. So all armors can withstand a certain type of damage now! Whoa, crazy right?

Oh Yeah, Armor.

a new armor system is present now, which allows you to seemingly "stack" armor.
TL;DR: Vault Suit (base)+ Leather Pads, Legs, Hat, (Stackable)= Badass new armor system that is fully customizable!
Non TL;DR: So, you have a "Base Armor", like a vault suit, pre-war (?), and any other small non bulky armor, Or Light Armor! Then, add some "Extra Armor" on TOP of it, like leather, metal (?), or others I don't know about. Also, you can interchange them. There is a raider in the E3 trailer, who has small armor on one side, but bulky armor on the other, meaning quite cool customization will ensue.
Also about the Shield, Shock, and Radiation symbol on armor stats, they mean something like physical resilience, energy resilience, and rad resilience.

Power Armor!

The power armor is customizable! So you can have a T-45 shoulders, T-51 legs, T-60 chest, and X-01 helmet. Also you can paint it different colors, like flames or something I guess.

Also now it is very bulky and sexy. No more pip boy carrying! And apparently if you break it, you must get it back to your "power armor fixer thing" and repair it. I don't remember where I heard it, but I feel like it was a tweet by Pete Hines or someone like that.

Vats

So now there is a new crit system, which (i guess) builds when you get kills. Which will be helpful when facing bosses. No more random crits here, bud. Only press a button.

Example VATS

Here is the sole survivor shooting someone in the face. His crit would probably build as you get kills or VATS kills. Pew Pew

YAOO GUAAAIII!!!

Yay, the return of old beasts! So there are many new ones (I'll get to them) but still many classics. Like Mole Rats, Feral Dogs, Raiders, Ghouls, BoS, Etc.

New guys

Look at him (bad picture quality is known, best pic I could find). This is a "Synth", AKA a synthetic or android. I guess these guys may be leftovers from pre-war, because they have no skin (ew). When you shoot it, it seems to "fall apart", which is really cool by the way. Also it carries a "Cryolator", more specific, a "cryolator pistol. Whoa cool, we can apparently freeze dudes. New guys include Blood bug, Synths, and others I can't think of right now.

Return of '87!

Yay! the Vault 87 mutants are back, and more green and uglier than before. Strange thing is, that Mariposa (Western) supers are green like this, but the main difference is the Mariposas are smart, but stay one size. The 87s are stupid and never stop growing (apparently eastern fire hydrants don't stop either). I hope they have an easter egg of a behemoth Fawkes or Uncle Leo.

Actually, these still are vault 87 mutants. Just a different (better) art direction. I'm looking at you Fallout 3 Mirelurks...
