Or if where you live has any direct chicken distributor stores those places sell large multi pound bags of the same chicken they sell to various franchises. Nearly all the distributors have a version that is nearly 1 to 1 with the chick fil a patty. Throw that in and air fryer and throw it on whatever bread you want. And if you want to know which one it is it’s whatever one looks the most like frozen chick fil a pattys some distributors even have a version that’s like the spicy patty too

I mean, the Chick-Fil-A franchise in my city literally has the highest number of LGBT+ workers out of all the fast food places. It pays well, respects their schedules, adequately staffs for their needs, and doesn't discriminate against them according to some of their employees who have worked there for years. Most people just bandwagon hate on them because it's easy to do. You rarely see much hate on Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts and they have much worst statistics for anti-LGBT+ discrimination.

the first time I had chik fil a was in highschool(very well rounded high catholic school that taught world religion as seniors and did not skimp an inch on slavery issues, also mandatory readings were books such as beloved etc.) thought it was pretty good. had it once or twice after I graduated, thought it was way too expensive for what I was getting(didn't know about their business practices then) last time was working at a store this year and it was in the parking lot. still waaaayyy too expen

This may or may not be true (I have my doubts, but no employment records, and employment records shouldn't include this info anyways, but I digress), and it's true that some LGBTQ+ folks eat there, as do some allies, either because it's their only option (for food or work), or they have bigger battles, or maybe they're punishing themselves for something, etc.. Whatever the reason, it's very true that they'd be better off if the company wasn't run by asshats who hate them.

My kid is gay and her friends are trans. They eat there occasionally but literally call it "Gay Haters Chicken". They also pretty much assume the world sucks and is never gonna change but at least they have a decent sandwich. They've got a weird apathy / fatalism but enjoying the little things is paramount. We have a Scooters up the road. They're not bad, but due to the espresso-to-milk ratio, I prefer macchiatos over lattes and cappuccinos, and that's all they really know how to make. I can approximate it by ordering a latte with an extra shot or two of espresso, but it's not quite the same... and more expensive lol

Papa Murphy’s? It was handy when the kids were little. The place was close to their daycare, so I could pick them up then grab dinner. Not absolutely amazing pizza, but good enough. They closed that location several years ago.
A Chik-Fil-A opened near us recently. I have no intention of ever visiting it.

For us, getting a cooked pizza would’ve meant cold pizza by the time we were ready to eat. Getting it uncooked meant we could cook it when we wanted it.
And there was the added advantage that, since it wasn’t cooked, the tax on prepared restaurant food didn’t apply, just the lower tax on grocery items.
