MRW i found out my GF is pregnant.
I'm 19 and lucky working full time, i'm a website developer so money isn't a massive issue but, wow i'm scared. I don't know whether i can do this, i feel i'm too young and immature, for god sake i sit at home and play games and browse Imgur for most the night after work.
But you know what i'm going to pull myself together and tell my dad, the only person that was there for me growing up as my mum..yer that's another story.. The worry i have is, is my dad going to proud or want to beat seven shades of s**t out of me.
Pretty much my dads reaction.
I took him out to the pub on my lunch break, sat him down and told him its kind of important and i need serious dad for a while. First thing he did was laugh (the good laugh) put his head in his hands laugh a bit more then shook my hand and said congratulations! This is not what i was expecting but wow the feeling that my dad believes i can do this. He told me i have nothing to fear he's going to be there for me and not let me mess up. We had a 2 hour talk (yes my work doesn't mind me taking a 2 hour lunch, i'm good at what i do :D ) and its the second happiest moment of my life seeing my dads face light up like that when i said he's going to have a grand child.
But now to tell my mum.
My mum isn't all there if you know what i mean, she used to beat me and my older brother. A very long story but she isn't the type you want around the dinner table, but at the end of the day she is my mum and you only get one, and i decided to let things go and try to mend things with her.
But i'm so worried about what she is going to do and just want to talk about it, i currently live with my mum and things have been going okay. She no longer tries to knock my front teeth out or strangle me. but that because i'm 19 and can put her over my shoulder and put her in her room to calm down. I'm just so freaking worried about whats she is going to do. O god i just hope she doesn't flip out, i don't think i could handle that right now, i just want my old mum back.
As you can tell i'm not good at writing all this stuff but getting some of it off my chest feels good. I would give you kitten tax but i have to get home to do that >.< i'll pay my kitten tax after i speak to my mum...and tell you guys and galls how it went :/
