Shock collars are actually a great tool. It barely hurts the dog, and is more like pinch than anything. You also tone to train.

Shock collars work really well if you get the one that beeps before hand. They learn pretty damn quick to stop at the beep

There are also collars with a light, vibrate function, and shock function. So you can save the shock as a last resort or not use it at all

Bingo. The one for my does the vibration sound and shock and has levels 1-100. Super safe and effective

Mine has a vibrate and a little beep. Beep for first warning and vibrate after that. Shock is last resort.

I have a jack Russell. You put the collar on him and he doesn't bark. The thing doesn't even need batteries. I tested it. It's Not too bad.

I use shock collars for off leash walks and I love it. Keeps them safe and me sane. Dogs get excited when they see it as it = fun. (1)
