Canon T3i, I think the lens used for the first 3 was an 18-55mm/f3.5-5.6, final was an 18mm/f1.8

I'd get the T4i, its price has gone down a lot since the T5i came out. T4i performs better at low light and that's useful when shooting 1/2

Good focal length too, closer to what a "normal" lens on 35mm should be. Sadly not nearly as common, and few with large apertures available.

The 1.4 is also USM. The 1.8 is great but very loud and mechanical. Still worth the $110 new.

The 50mm 1.8 is a good lens for the price. We call it the nifty 50. Everyone should have one. The 1.4 is better but around $250 more.
