Lifehack : Attach your key to a bright color badge holder lanyard. It will make it easier to find it if it manages to escape, without taking too much place in your pocket.
This is actually really clever. Most people arnt really paying attention, and only some one actually looking would readily spot the anomaly and have their attention drawn. And since most people wouldnt care, even if they did notice it's all just more likely that it'd make it back to the proper owners hands.
My son had given me beautiful mitts for Christmas, and one fell out of my pocket on my way home. Some kind person put it on their yard lamp which was by the sidewalk, and I saw it months later when it was light out. I was elated
I once almost lost my phone in a state park... after we had gone off the trail. I'd given up and my friend found it... right next to the trail where I sort of controlled slid down a steep incline, like "oh well... that makes sense"
They were smoking weed out on the trail (why they really lost their key) and wanted to post this, but they're friends with their parents so they needed a plausible cover
Lol idk, I used to walk, hike, and jog (when my joints allowed it) in chucks. Then again I also sprained my ankle, broke a bone in my foot and severely broke my arm while doing so before I learned to just wear the ugly ass running shoes and hiking boots made for said activities
I saw a lady in flip flops hiking on a mountain trail at 7,800 feet up. We were up about 2,000 feet(600 meters) in altitude from the lodge. That had to hurt.
Hikers are an odd bunch. I've hiked in chaco's before after my boots got wet and caused a blister. There are some barefoot hippie hikers. Shoes could have blown out if not made for trails. I hate when camp shoes become primary hikers.

Jogging in Vans slip-ons?

The hiking/camping/mountain/climbing/outdoorscommunity can be very communal and friendly at times. Pay it forward.

I mean, also, what good is a random lost key? I'll SURELY guess what this single lone key goes to.
WolfRamX4
Yup, was pretty much my point when I was saying nobody cares. Thats assuming some one is even so inclined to begin with.
andrewgrr1
That's a Honda key. The Soul is made by Kia. Fkn liar.

Just because you need to reap a few souls every year to maintain your lifeforce don't make you a bad person.

We use to do this in desert raves in Arizona when we'd fine some random keys.
siler7
Did any of them ever pay?
Megadentron
Pay for what? Finding lost keys or for key bumps lol?
siler7
The keys you fined. Did they pay the fines?

He went jogging in a pair of Vans, did he? I question the veracity of this account.

Their car key plan was something like "jammed it into my bra or a running shorts pocket." Maybe they're just getting into running.
erroniousmaximus
Some people have no idea about things. I’d say it’s not unreasonable someone would jog sometimes in vans.
siler7
Just because people do things doesn't make those things unreasonable.
