I just started a diet on Monday and plan on losing 150 pounds over the next 15 months. It's been a tough week to say the least.

you can do it!

and you still die alone anyway

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I watched someone drop 100 lb in 7 months, it can be done.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know it sounds simple, but I think the motivation of being casted in a big blockbuster Marvel movie was a big part of his motivation...

Motivation is motivation. Who cares what the source is? It is about staying motivated for your own needs that is important

Baby step it. Small progress makes big results. Don't get discouraged by slow downs.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hard work for a payoff is great and i commend anyone with the will power, but the $ to hire a personal trainer to keep you in check helps

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd be happy to be the before.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy shit, was he really that big? I knew he was chunky on P&R but wow.

10 years ago | Likes 268 Dislikes 4

bad angles are bad

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It doesn't help that it's an unflattering photo. But yeah, he was decently big.

10 years ago | Likes 138 Dislikes 0

He never really got "fat" though, he just kinda his whole physicality would just get larger

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's the composition. Because you expect to see his belly stop slightly to the left of where it stops in the image, it looks wider than it i

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

is

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also the promise of being a lead in a Marvel movie and a few million dollars will motivate the shit out of you

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When they make burger flavoured salad, I'm gonna be the skinniest fucker on the block.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I could lose that much weight if someone paid me 7 figures to do it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chrisp Ratt is pretty kewl guy!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh yea! Keep it up! I just started Wednesday. Trying to lose 25 pounds in 3 months. Good luck!! I know u can do it

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fine, I get what you're saying, universe. I won't have that last sandwich tonight, and I'll get out and walk a couple of miles.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I hear 'li'l Sebastian' I always break up.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I really would love to eat that burger now though.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

only 525,000 calories to burn to lose that weight! you could run 202 (two hundred two) marathons, that would just about do it. good luck !

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Don't talk yourself out of it like that, focus on the small goals

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Or to not eat in the first place. That's a deficit of about 1000kcal daily. Dude was probably eating way more than 2000kcal so it's feasible

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*money helps

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I don't want to blame it on me being poor. I am lazy, but it would help if I had money to afford a gym or a good diet

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

The Scientific 7-Minute Workout, but I have to admit that I can't get my lazy ass to do that shit. Lol But Dance Central's fun!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no need for a gym to do the basics. you can work wonders with your own body weight and a cheap dumbbell kit

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I said that 2 years ago. Then Therabands at home, and simple, good-tasting food that ended up being less expensive. Lost weight.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chicken, rice, oats and seasonings are cheap. You're just looking for 'good food' to mean 'easy, good, tasty food.' DIY

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/3 and greens are very expensive during winter. I'm barely making it to end of the month just by buying the cheapest options of everything.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I never said anything about good food. I said good diet meaning proper diverse healthy diet. Where I live, chicken is not cheap 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

3/3 having several small portion meals a day are impossible for me. Currently I'm surviving with maybe 2-3 a day.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This confuses caloric intake with muscle growth. I eat roughly 3000 calories a day, and am building muscle mass. It's all about 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What you eat honestly. Do research on what's actually good for you, instead of listening to a rich dude with a personal trainer.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, if you offered me millions of dollars to be in a badass movie, I'd probably stop eating shit and starting working out, too.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

they didn't force him to do it, he saw that the character was lean and strong and wanted to do it justice.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He didn't get the offer before the weight loss though...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My husband has lost 180 in 9 months by changing his diet and going to the gym. It's doable. Good luck @OP.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

That's awesome!!! Big congrats to him!!!!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd like to see before and after pics of that! Awesome job

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's still a work in progress. Unfortunately, we didn't get a good before picture so we only have some vacation pics. About 60lbs to go.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

it's normally like 80/20 diet exercise.. it's shocking how many don't realise this (myself incl.). Tried gaining muscle for years going 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

to the gym and taking the odd shake and gained no mass. Started a protein rich diet and then went from 59 kg to 85kg in less than a year 2/3

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

thanks mostly to a higher protein diet and smarter workout. Cutting atm

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I eat like shit and I can always gain mass out the ass. I know extremely good mass gain regimens though. Diet would really help me cut tho

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Genetics and total T levels are a big factor, too.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Chrisp Rat

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I would stop eating unhealthy food if it wasn't like the very last thing I have left that I enjoy in life.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

just have to moderate it. It's all about cals in vs cals out.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

looks like i picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Get me Rex Kramer

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@AlecGuinessGenuineClass.... "Jeremy's.... Iron?" ?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My man

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

....1200 calories is a bigass burger.

10 years ago | Likes 112 Dislikes 8

2 double doubles at in n out. I can eat that if I'm pretty hungry and I'm 6'1 @ 174 lbs

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn you must be a bean pole. I weigh about that at 5'7ish and I'm just a smidge on the chubby side.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You must be really muscular then, because I'm not exactly a beanpole, haha.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

is a burger just a burger? Or is it a burger, super-sized fries with tons of ketchup, and a jumbo soda+refill to wash it all down?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well...a basic combo meal at a fast food joint comes out to 1100-1200 fries, burger, soda and all. So...maybe?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Apparently in parks and rec he didn't use a spit bucket, so more like 8 burgers

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Or a big ass burger with like 30 bacon strip cheese, and tons of sauce lol. A big mac is only like 500cals do yeah... 2 and a half big macs

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not really, a Big Mac is about 540 calories, and those are maybe half the size they used to be.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Big macs are terrible burgers anyway. Bread/meat ratio is all fucked up and adds fluff calories.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A double Whopper with cheese and mayo is 950 alone. Add soda and fries and you're, well, fat.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

....are you saying a double whopper with cheese and mayo isn't an unnecessarily large burger?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not really. Hell a regular sized sub from firehouse is 980 calories... The bigger one is 1500.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you're talking chains, subs are actually significantly more calorific than burgers. More bread, condiment, cheese, etc...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Comparing a basic sub to a basic burger, the #1 at each kinda deal anyway. Not talking Triple bacon cheeseburgers with extra mayo here.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Double bacon cheese

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's for a cop.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

cheese, bacon, mayo, butter...it all adds up

10 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 1

That's probably a sauce already

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know if you build like a big, quality burger it does. But, 1200 is around 2.5-3x your basic quarter pounder.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Just googled it. 540 cal per quarter pounder.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Butter on a burger?

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Oh my sweet summer child...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

butter the bun and toast it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

150 Is a lot In 15 months! Try smaller goals so you can have many victory's!

10 years ago | Likes 79 Dislikes 3

Just give up now and save yourself the trouble.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Ten pounds a month? That's 2.5 pounds a week. Doable. Hard, but doable.

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Doable. Not really healthy, but doable.

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 6

Yeah, basically this. Never stop shooting high but never let your goals be unviewable.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I did 102LBS in 14 months and I feel like I could've shortened that up considerably with more discipline.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I lost 160lbs in 12 months. It can be done, but it sucks.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

150 is actually easily doable, but they need to make sure they're not reducing their calorie intake too much. It'll destroy the gallbladder.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

To be clear, this is not a boast when I say I lost 120 lb in six months, because my point is that it WRECKED my gallbladder. Needs surgery.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It's a good idea to have your GB checked before starting rapid weight loss. Likely yours was damaged to start & dieting just made it worse.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Possibly, but I didn't start having gallbladder "attacks" until after all the weight had been lost.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As long as they still intake a proper amount of fat, they might be okay. That's what the liver uses to make bile salts.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This. When the ultimate goal is a lot of weight, a plateau week can feel devastating and you can blow a few weeks' progress with a binge.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You do that and you will get loose skin everywhere. Do that in a span of 3 years about 50lb/year, and you will see a lot better result.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Whoever down voted me, expect to lose some hairs as well along with other side effects. You didn't gain all that weights in a year or two.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

No need for down votes here. It's true. And slower weight loss is more sustainable. Start slow. Maybe have a few hard core weeks thrown (1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/3) in for motivation and to test yourself. But slow is better. Yes fast is doable but if you don't have the discipline for a WHOLE year

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3/4) year you WILL get caught up and it will be frustrating. Making up a 1lb loss after fucking up a week is A LOT easier than 2.5 and

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

4/4) a lot better psychologically. And yes, I need to learn how to count :)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trainers probably also helped him out, nice speech but it's never that easy.

10 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 9

He didn't say anything about it being easy, but yes, it is that easy, lardass. Stop bitching about what you don't have and just do it.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

To get that muscular? Sure. But to lose weight you don't need any trainers. Just regulate how much you eat. (Which is HARD, yeah.)

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Or just stay active. No real exercise needed.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

That's just not true for most people. Real exercise and portion control is needed to show results at a reasonable rate.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Just to lose weight? No. You can eat whatever you damn well please, if you just stay active. (Within reason, obviously. Normal helpings.)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Yeah, only if youre a 15 year old male. Decreasing calorie intake is much easier than burning it all off. You cant out-exercise a bad diet!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Other way around for most folks. And trainers and nutritionists will tell you that.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's hard but you can do it alone and you don't need gym membership either. The same excuse every time this image is posted, he's rich!

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Let's not act like that doesn't help, the money. It provides him a great chef and trainer. My hard work would pay off more with that.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, if we were all getting paid what he was to get in shape, it would definitely help. Most people don't get paid based on body type.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You'd think long term health risks from being obese would be enough of an incentive.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

and generally looking and feeling like shit 24/7
