"Guys I got the point! I got the-" headshotted. looks back to see team too scared to move up despite only two enemies are in the way.

Key to enjoy games: Stop being a salty fuck

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

I play the salt powered robot, so I love the hate.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Symettra is my fav support for a sucky team.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's so funny how everyone hates bastion when he's super easy to kill if you don't suck

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Wheres dump #1?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The amount of Bastion plays of the match is too damn high...

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't even play this game but I still LOL'd at #27.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Should I buy this game?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yep

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I know nothing about this game and I still find most of these hilarious

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Somehow I feel like I can understand these

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Same

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

!! QUESTION !! What does the voting actually do? When you reach Epic or 10 votes. What does it DO. Does it just stroke your ego or what?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It does nothing

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Marge Simpson got me almost thinking of trying more Battleborn just because I know she's trying so hard.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

As someone who doesn't game........ Huh?!

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 7

I keep going Mchammer time on kids with precision German engineering to turn around with 3 widowmakers torborn and bastion not doing shit.

10 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 1

"I keep telling ya, I'm Svedish!"

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I don't play, but going to take a stab at the meaning here: person tanks with Reinhardt only to have teammates do nothing. Was I close?

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Spot on

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yes spot on.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The hell man?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I play this game, and I have no idea what the fuck you typed here.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Who has the "precision German engineering"? You, or the kids you're...killing as McCree, I guess? And does "precision German [1]

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

engineering" imply someone is playing as Reinhardt? And I guess that "with 3 widowmakers torborn and bastion not doing shit" is...YOUR team?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Haha yes me playing Reinhardt and doing work with little to no assistance from my team who sits and camps not pushing the objective.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

...your team is on offense with five defense and a tank?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Pero que hijo de puta

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

JAJAJA

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Everyone keeps saying its super easy to kill bastion and while i dont disagree im a bit skeptical. Someone enlighten me of how to kill him

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Reaper, port behind him, shoot at him a little bit.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Typically hes in a corner but yea i see how that would work

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you just need to get close- you can walk through his shield and out-DPS him.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Widow, Hanzo, Junkrat, Pharah (at range/peeking corner), basically anyone who's capable of outranging him.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My only complaint is he doesn't bloom enough at range. I still kill him plenty a pharah, just wish he wasn't so pinpoint.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

His damage output is substantially lower at longer ranges. You can't just stand where he can see you and shoot at him though.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You peek out from behind cover and blast him a couple times, distract him with a tank, flank him, things like that.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly, I'd rather get Battleborn. I'm not going to pay full price for half a game.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it was a gift I would be equally happy with either though.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

WAIT IS NO MAN'S SKY OUT?

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

not yet...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It got delayed :...(

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Oh well, better they get it right than rush to the finish line and launch it half baked.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

#10 is too real

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

After 300+ games Ive had one game with more than one sniper. People are, as usual, over exaggerating.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

My entire team off galavanting in alleyways having a deathmatch instead of helping me move the fucking cart.. Every fucking time.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Bastion salt is the best salt

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I got a 4 man, no assist obj. Ult as mei the other day. POTG went to a bastion on the cart who held left click and didn't move the camera.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

if it makes you feel better, pure damage is the 'fallback default' for choosing a PotG. Which means if you see one like that, it means 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

2/2 ... that the game literally could not find anything it considered a better move according to the current metrics it follows.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I hope the play of the game gets tuned away from "hur durr left click".

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Haven't followed along with how overwatch gameplay goes down, but why all the hate towards Bastion?

10 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 1

I think they are going to nerf him he can be countered but he has so much damage and so many rounds

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

Originally he had a shield when in turret mode and could only turn 180° degrees.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Turret that goes brrrrt at spawn and go boom boom at spawn isn't very fun for the enemy team

10 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 3

Fair enough

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

All other character DPS: 60-150 per second at optimum range, crit modifiable. Bastion DPS: 525 per second at optimum range, crit modifiable

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I love killing Winston in literally 1.5 seconds.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

People don't know how to counter him, so they die and go online and bitch about it

10 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 8

He can go back and forth, quite quickly, from turret to mobile, and his only other ability is a pretty fast self-heal. A bit tough to beat.

10 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 4

Genji, widowmaker, pharah, junkrat, and tracer can defeat him at range, then roadhog, dva, tracer, genji. mccree own him up close.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And even from mobile to turret he can kill you if you're already shooting him. Lol

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I tend to counter him with D.va just fine. so long as he's not being guarded by Reinhardt

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I have a hard time countering him with d.va, which is weird because I'm very effective with her against any other character...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's all about timing and distance. You can block nearly a full 200 rounds from him but you've got to close the distance before it wears 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

2/2 out. Then you can dance around him and shoot him up while he reloads.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He is very effective if your team has no one who is good at Overwatch. He is terrible if you do.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

He can actually still be good if played by someone competent. IE ambushing and flanking tactics

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Lots of damaged sealed out by bastion, but he's easy to kill, you just need to know how to play against one

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Mostly because people are bad at the game. He outputs lots of damage, but can be countered if you know what you're doing.

10 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 3

Mmm, Zarya gives him a good ol' big fuzzy Siberian bear hug.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Tracer, Reaper, Roadhogs hook, and especially Genji all counter Bastion really well. Most people are just to stupid and run into his bullets

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

A tracer attaching a bomb to him does the job nicely

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nothing better than dashing into a Bastion/Reinhart barrier, sticking a bomb, and watching them go boom.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Exactly, there are some easy ways to take him down, but people just charge in front of him and hope they kill him before he does them

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Spoiler: they don't.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

See, I hear this argument all the time, and it's so backwards. The solution to a strategy that distorts low-level play isn't to tell [1]

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 12

people that they should just gain skill until it stops being frustrating. Doesn't work that way. What they need is to find a way to nerf [2]

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

Bastion that has a large effect on the way he dominates low-level play but doesn't impact his limited role in higher-level play. There [3]

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 9

are always going to be a massive number of games of Overwatch happening between teams of new and casual players, and if the logic [4]

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 9

He's already been nerfed and even if you just barely know how to play you can easily kill him with deflect or ranged bombs

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Considering Genji's Deflect is a non-easy skill shot and doesn't have a long duration, you need to know how to play more than "barely".

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Basically a playable turret

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Mostly he is played as a 1 trick pony that the game rewards because people love feeding him kills.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Bastion has extreme damage output and is easy to use. He can be countered but is frustrating for low skill/experience players to deal with.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

because they have literally no fucking idea how to choose reaper and kill him. It's so easy.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Honestly, turret mode has way too many bullets. More reload time would be a good direction to go for balance.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

he is weak at high levels, so this change would make him useless there. He is a noobstomper. That problem has existed since early beta tbh

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The whole "point and click adventure" joke sums it up. Really accurate, even from a distance, very fast attack speed, high damage.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Just about every character is pretty accurate at a distance though.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Have you tried long range tracer

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

People haven't quite figured the game out yet, and he's easy to play. Give it time. You can learn to deal with him.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

My friend plays as Mercy and boosts my damage as Widowmaker. Takes 2 shots at maximum power to kill him. Not too terrible honestly.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I dispute that the problem will be solved by people "figuring out the game". There will always be games happening between new players, [1]

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

and Bastion is going to be dominant in those games until he's fixed. There are ways to nerf him that won't impact his limited role in [2]

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

high-level level play but will keep him from absolutely devouring teams of brand-new players. [fin]

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

McCory In The House, every weekday at high noon.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Countering bastion is really easy honestly...Genji deflect..most bastion players are trigger happy so its kinda funny to watch them die.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Deflect, Tracer bomb, Widowmaker, Hanzo, honestly just don't run into his bullets and you're fine.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

just go reaper and port in and fuck shit up.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

if you can get LOS on a good teleport point without him seeing you. Personally I have trouble with this.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It doesn't really matter if he can see you after you port... you're close enough to walk through the shield.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"My team could definitely use a third Widowmaker" killed me. So true.

10 years ago | Likes 328 Dislikes 1

Last time this happened the other three switched to widow too. Guess who was the salty 3?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Tried out 5/6 Winston. It was bananas

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

5 Bastions + 1 Mercy almost had me rage-quit.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Or a fourth Hanzo.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Played a game once with 6 fucking Torbjörn's... I will give it to them... the payload didn't move far. http://imgur.com/60kTgnE

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I played a game where my team was five torbjorn and a widow maker on defense. They couldn't even take the first point.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It's called the dwarf fortress spread the word!

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

No healers; no one cares. One healer; still, no one cares.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The other night, we played 5 Winstons and 1 Lucio on offense. Won the round in under 3 min. On defenses, we used 5 Junkrats. Not as good.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Stacking up on tanks isn't bad. Stacking up on people that rely on tanks while not having tanks sucks.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

6 hanzos last night. Payload didnt get far but the amount of ryu waka gofuckyourselves made it hilarious

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I find myself saying "Oh look, two Widowmakers" all too often. Then a Hanzo shows up and I continue to be sad.

10 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 1

Are they basically like an ADC in league?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

And the game even says right there "too many snipers"!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What's sad is that I will pick Widowmaker first and someone else will choose her and I have to change because i'm not an asshat.

10 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 1

The amount of times i've looked at my team and switched to mercy. Yesterday i had 2 junkrats, 2 Widows and 2 Reapers >.>

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Struggles of having no friends to play with. I feel you :/

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What has bugged me is running into lobbies with all 1 character. 1 game all soldier 76's, another with all Roadhogs. annoyingly, it worked.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's because they both have a healing ability to sustain themself.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Once dropped out of a match because a guy on team chat screamed, "We're all soldiers now!" and everyone was Soldier 76.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's fun when it's once in awhile. Had a team leap in as 6 monkeys. Interesting game.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I love playing Zenyatta, because I basically never have to worry about there being a duplicate. He doesn't get nearly enough appreciation.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

What's weird is he gets played an absurd amount in training vs AI but never outside of that.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That fucking discord orb is the bane of my existence.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Problem is he gets 1 shot by literally anybody

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Zenyata is fucking amazing, I'm often able to kill tanks since I have that discord orb and charge shot, also makes for a great anti-bastion.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My favorite part of this game is when I'm the only competent person on my team.

10 years ago | Likes 398 Dislikes 7

So, no reason to switch from Battleborn.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Play road hog. 5 gold medals all day erry day

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Match yesterday, I pushed the objective back 8m by myself with mei, had a 7 streak. Blocked a dva bomb with a wall, was wrecking (1/2)

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Their world. Then 3 of them picked widow maker and killed me. In the time it took me to spawn, they enemy pushed it back and won -__- (2/2)

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

why yes entire team, we have 30 seconds left and only a few feet to push the payload, let's all attack the other team nowhere near it!

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Or when it's overtime and it's running out yet no one goes near the payload

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My favourite part is when everyone on the team has this exact same thought.

10 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 1

Then you look at your medals and you are Lucio or Reinhardt with 4 gold medals.....

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Last man in has to heal... or i guess im switching to L ucio, cause i suck at healing... and this is the best you guys are gonna get.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

My thing is usually look, I can either be a terrible Mercy or a good Pharah. Which one will actually be more helpful?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'd rather a good pharah than a bad mercy.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh look... we won... barely... with my shitty heals... i hate you people

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Lucio is hands down the best support right now.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

And everyone is voting for the shitty McCree who got QOTG with 2 kills then fanned another to death.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I get called salty for pointing out potg doesn't mean shit if yer team loses.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I often want to call out "literally no one is surprised" every time it's a Bastion or Tor play. But as a Reaper, I'm just plain salty.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

something tells me, you are not the only competent person on your team...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I predict half of the people think they are the only competent player here.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

In those situations I just focus on pulling off good plays for myself. I can still have a good time even if my team loses.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

in this case i take junkrat and can atleast damage multiple opponents

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What if you think this but vice-versa?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think everyone believes that. I'm going to avoid this game cause I'm pretty sure I'll get yelled at for playing 'wrong'.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Eh, there's a block option, and if you enjoy the type of game get it. Ignore salty trash talkers.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

God help you if you are the only competent person and the healer... RIP in peace.

It's a meme to say it like that. He knows what he's doing, haha.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yup. At that point I just change out and leave them to die.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My life as a Mercy main :(

10 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

You and me both ;_;

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Can we start a club? Or a cult? I'd be good with either.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Clubs are overrated, cults are the 'in' right now. We can call it the Clerics Curing Chaos.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Mercy is my fav too but if you're not going to swap when you're team is lacking. You're as bad as people that "main" Widow on attack.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Well of course I switch, that's how the game works. I just like Mercy as my go-to, usually I'm the healer, but when people on my team suck..

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Symettra is my fav support for a sucky team.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I was playing healer on attack payload and my team deserted the payload and basically kept complaining to me that I wasn't anywhere else.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I was on the ducking payload doing what they couldn't do. Ended up getting an objective time of 4:40 and I died twice. We won.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Nice

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The "crawl under the payload for cover and heal anyone who comes close enough" tactic is great when you're support

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Tfw your mercy and the only person pushing the payload

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Alright, let me heal you up real qui...or you could just dash out again with 10% health and get immediately killed, that works, too.

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Or even better, when that lone wolf player is begging for heals. Sorry, I'm not zip-zoopin' over there to heal you.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Dat feel when you're leading for elims as support

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Switch out. At that point the hp you add to your team is obviously not effective, might as well try to do damage or cap points

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Yup. I normally switch to Soldier 76 or Roadhog so that way I can at least heal myself.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I switch to Zarya. I have turned around several games as her. For she is strong like ox-bear, and will carry you weaklings to victory.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Haha. I've never really played with her. So I would have no clue on what to do.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Which is weird, because in TF2 I've been the only competent guy on the team, and I played the medic, and we consistently one

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Thx Android.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

"We don't need 3 tanks"- me. "Shut up junkrat, we need three tanks because of low team damage, you're doing no damage" I had 16000 damage at

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I had a genji rage at me for not rushing in with my alt as reaper to try and kill a bastion.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Time...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

'Yes...yes I will vote myself MVP'

10 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 1

I try to vote healer if they make the list, because half the time they get 0 credit.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

True despair is just not voting because everyone was awful and no one deserves anything and life is meaningless

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

"I ain't voting for you fucks, and I sure as fuck ain't voting for their Roadhog."

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

If people could stop comparing battleborn and overwatch, that'd be great.

10 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 23

Two class-based RPG team FPSs. Yes, one has MOBA elements, but that doesn't clearly separate them enough

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

One is team fortress 3, One is Smite with guns, they're pretty damn different.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Isn't it a better move to compare Overwatch and Paladins?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You can blame the Battleborn social media team too. https://twitter.com/playoverwatch/status/707010249455067137

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well we found the person who got Battleborn instead of Overwatch ;)

10 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 10

I only got Battleborn and I compare them. They're both good, but players are stupid, so I guess they'll both end up like LOL or DOTA:

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I own both, I enjoy both very much.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Battlestillborn*

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They're in the same genre, and they came out at a similar time, it was bound to happen

10 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 14

Overwatch. Is. Not. A. Fucking. Moba

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

It doesn't matter if it is or not they're both hero based first person shooters, meaning they're similar enough to compare.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

They are both first person games, the end. One is a MOBA, one is a team shooter. It's like saying Diablo and DOTA are the same.

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 6

Not really.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 12

A good, well thought-out response.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

I gave a more elaborate response elsewhere. Message me if you want a discussion. 140 chars doesn't do it justice.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Battleborn is a MOBA, Overwatch is not

10 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 10

What components of a MOBA does Battleborn have that Overwatch does not? The in-level upgrades?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

PVE, leveling, creeps, tug of war, skill trees.....

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

pve elements, in game level ups and upgrades, resource collection, time to kill, a recall button. Overwatch is tf2 for the new decade, and/2

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

that isn't a criticism, tf2 was dated and overwatch expands and improve many of the themes. It's an fps, and great one, but not a moba.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The pve elements

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Side note, I would love a PVE mode for Overwatch. Like a hold-the-line 6v500 bot wave thing. It fits the story. Basically gimme MVM.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Overwatch is absolutely a multiplayer online battle arena

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 24

It's a bullshit term invented by Riot. It used to be called "funmap" or "gay warcraft without army or building a base"

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Also both FPS, also similar cartooney graphics/art style,

They're hero based fps games and that's it. Nothing else to compare them

Look, we all know what type of game MOBA refers to. With your logic, any game with a story/protagonist is technically a "role playing game"

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Clearly you don't know what that term means. Don't read the literal words.

Clearly you don't know what words mean :) is it multiplayer? Online? Battling? In an arena??? (:

Idk why you're getting downvoted? Sorry dude.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Literally, that would be true. However, MOBA is meant to mean the same thing as "Dota Clone." The person who came up with the term didn't re

alize that "Multiplayer Online Battle Arena" describes the majority of online PvP games.

When will Winston be good?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

He's used more as a disrupter then a tank. Jump in fuck shit up jump out and heal.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He is quite good i assure you, just not as multi functional as some other heroes

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pros seem to like him a lot as is.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Winston is already good?

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

How? He's so huge so he just attracts damage from every angle. His shields don't last for any time at all in the thick of a fight, and ...

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

his two primary sources of non-ultimate damage are weak. The electric gun is great is people group up I guess. HOW DO I BE GOOD WITH HIM???

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That was awesome. Three different commenters but it all came across like it was from one author. All right I'll give him some more tries.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's great for keeping points. group up with team, leap in and place shield and then keep moving with him (he has great mobility)

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

When on low health pop your ult and get a free full heal allowing you to tank more. He's not great for 1 on 1s but great for staying alive

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Kill snipers and flankers. Avoid good shotgun players and McCree. Know when to jump in to apply pressure and more importantly jump out.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jump to backline, kill snipers and supports, drop shield until you can jump out. Or jump to crowd, ult everyone.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

^^^ He's tanky enough to kill the 150-250hp champs before they kill him. His main attack is weak but good there or against groups.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

His ult has substantial knocback. Do you chase down the enemies for the kill, or knock them back and then let your team finish them off?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Find a lone player and destroy them. He has high damage output and decent defense for one on one fights

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

in pro play it is common that one winston on your team is eh, but having 2 greatly increases their value.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also he is great for making or breaking bottlenecks- go deep with your big health, drop a shield, the rest can burst through

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's also good for drawing fire away from the team, the other tank job. He's definitely not great on his own though.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He will never be an amazing hero because of how easy he is to use.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The scene is still young, but the pros disagree with you.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Your username really does suit you.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Easy to use isn't a bad thing.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It quickly becomes a balance issue if a character is easy to use plus really strong. Hence why Winston will never be an amazing hero.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So you're saying that winston is massively overpowered and requires no skill to use and therefor he's crap?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No, he's saying that they'll never make an easy AND overpowered character, because everybody would use it. Thus, Winston'll never be made OP
