This one makes me sad :-(

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

And you only had to watch 300,000 hours of games to find these

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How is this Epic?

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

That's just what speed do.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Someone explain the last one for my friend

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Catcher hit the batter in the head on the throwback, as an accident, joking ensued

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

These are my favorite. Please make more. Also, hockey would be nice :)

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

How was this ruled? Looks like the catcher tried to blame his shit on the batter...lol. Ump didn't bite

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah he tried to get a call for interference, but he's just a shitty catcher. Runners advanced and time was called.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ball 2 ;-)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Really? Awesome.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#1 : wtf is going on? It looks like they're grappling

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I believe that's from an all-star game. The runner was just fucking around with the catcher.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Looks reversed. They crashed and fell over each other. This is that action backwards

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

was indeed a natural 1 on a grappling manuever

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It is reversed, runner collided with the catcher.

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

Well. Post the normal gif. We're waiting.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't have it, use your imagination.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now it all makes sense.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm confused as well

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can someone explain to me what's going on in #10?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

MRW I see a baseball post on the front page.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#8 "did you saw it? He always stands in my way"

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

That's actually correct - the batter is supposed to clear the box in case the catcher needs to throw to 3rd. This batter was being a dick.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

The batter is supposed to stay in the box. If he backs out then he's backing into the way the catcher is supposed to be moving

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's not correct, he can't move to impede the play within the box and he can't step out of the box either. 6.06(c)

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is 100% incorrect.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Sorry, must have been thinking of rugby.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That's what speed do

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Did you post this with implied verbal consent? The mlb would like to have a word with you.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#8 doesn't give a fuck! He looks at the ref like "fucker wouldn't move, that's what he gets!"

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I need Bo Jackson highlights.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I bet that hurt

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What is the context of #8? I don't get what happened.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the batter is supposed to clear the box so he can throw to third, but hes obstructing so the catcher is like fuck it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

The catcher was probably trying to throw to 3rd to prevent a stolen base and the batter got in the way.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ump shouted "BALLs"

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Throw to third to retire runner. Catcher had a bad day but no one gets in trouble unless it was intentional.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A lot of times the catcher will throw to another base to catch someone out even after a ball or strike, he threw looks like to third 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

And wasn't paying attention or the ball slipped from his hand and hit the dude in the gut then told the ump it was accidental

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

#6 was slick

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love stuff that can make you appreciate a sport you don't even know a thing about except swing, throw and catch

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can someone capture the last frame of #10? I can't do it from mobile.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Always going to be my favorite baseball player ever, no contest.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Too bad the epic moments in baseball are separated by about 3000 hours of tedium.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

That's what makes them epic.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

v I still say this was the most epic moment of this season.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The Mariners and Dodgers are probably kicking themselves too. lol

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't tell you how happy I am that he came to the Rangers and stuck with them. He's such a great leader and excellent comic relief.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#4 tripped me anyone know

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My favorite baseball tantrum ever

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know baseball, what happened here?

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Wellman (the manager) didn't like why the umpires ejected a player.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A minor league manager went apeshit on the umpires at a game and "grenaded" the chalk bag, pulled out bases i believe, and other shit

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Minor league Manager freaked out, threw bases, threw the rosin bag, cussed a lot, and got ejected. Pretty much just lost all his shit.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

The whatnow bag?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rosin. It's a powdered form of resin that gives you better ball control.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There was a busted ball (probably got hit too hard) and he basically went trench warfare on it

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 9

It's not a broken ball it's a chalk bag. And I believe that person is some kind of coach and didn't like a call and it "protesting"

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*is

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was there a reason for the yelling at the end? It looks like he was frustrated.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bad calls. He was(dont know if still is) a minor league manager

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

that catcher hitting the batter in the gut gets me every time.

10 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 1

ARE YOU FUCKING SORRY?!

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It happened to me once in little league. Not a fun thing.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I bet it was funny for everyone else though.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shitty catcher is shitty

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

why?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Supposed to throw around the batter. I played for 20 years and literally never saw this happen on a throw to 3rd.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

He had a GUT feeling something bad was going to happen .... I'll see myself out!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

oh, you must not have seen the rule that I made up just now that absolves the catcher of any fault and the batter is out.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I know, it's gut retching

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What exactly is going on there?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The catcher is attempting to throw out a runner at 3rd base. He is supposed to throw around the batter. Shitty catcher.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

looks like the catcher is trying to throw out a base stealer and the batter didn't move outta the way. pretty sure that's interference+ out

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 7

Ah, ok. Thanks!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The catcher is throwing to 3rd. It's the catcher's job to throw around the batter in that case

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

nope. I just made up the rule that it's the batters fault. sorry. thanks for playing though.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

fair enough

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I don't think it's interference because the batter is in the batter's box and has every right to stand there.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

nah, if a batter interferes with the baseball in any way when it's thrown by a person on defense, it's interference. just made that up btw

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

You can tell it's the catchers fault cause he tries to complain and the ump indicates the batter is in the box

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

does the batter take his base?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no, but he does get a commemorative bobble head and $5 off his next concessions purchase.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That Endy Chavez catch will live forever in the annals of NY baseball history.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I just said, nothing could ever compare with the emotion felt watching that as a kid

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My friend calls him "The Catch." Not the play. The person.
