I found her mourning her dead sister on the side of the road. My heart snapped in two.
I found out from people in the neighborhood that she and her sister had been left about a month ago when her owners moved. Her sister had been hit by a car the morning I found her.
This was her on the way to my apartment.
She way incredibly timid and trembled the whole time.
Had an adopter lined up who had seen several pictures of her. When we got to her house she said the dog wasn't "shepherd" enough
Now she's back with me.
But I can't have a dog in my apartment. She's here secretly right now.
She's located in Northeast Louisiana.
If no one adopts her, she'll be headed towards Dallas on Monday. My former roommate works with a rescue group that will hopefully be able to place her somewhere.
