David Hawthorne Interception
You may also want to check out a video I got of the Aaron Rodgers/Jordy Nelson touchdown at half (that possibly saved the game) against New England. It's not the best quality, but you'll see a great crowd reaction at Lambeau! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0ilgFoBUgA

I'm so happy a football post exploded. And being a Packers fan on top of it? Today is glorious.
REDfohawk
Discount double check these interceptions. Dude is a god.
scouttrooper
I love seeing the pack on here. GO PACK GO!
thisisneil
op is showing that he really only has tipped ball ints. this makes his season seem even more ridiculous.
HoudinisMagicWeenie
As an old defensive football player it's called Tip Drill. We actually practice this all the time. Still very hard to react to make INT
cryptzicle
You're saying you practice the receiver not catching it. Tip drill is same team batting it up to make a play usually
JaviChes
Now post his 35 touchdowns.
thehammerismypenis
Do the thing they do with pitchers in baseball where they superimpose all the throws on top of each other.

I have definitely jacked off while wearing my jersey.

So in effect he's thrown 0... Ludacris.
Cpink123
LUDAAAAAA....(spelling).
AuBoss
1 and a half imo. The 2nd one is thrown too far in front of the receiver and the first one is a little too tho should still have been caught
ChuckIHadADoubleBuurgerrr
Adams stopped running too soon, which is why he had to lunge.

The fortune to have had the QBs we've had over the last 20 years. All two of them lol
SpiritOne
I saw a pic of all the Browns QB just over the last 10 years. We are some dam lucky fans.
masimone
There is not enough bandwidth to show all Eli Manning's.
jshimoskie
And how!
Jurks
Well if we take away the 49ers game he only has 8 on the season and i like to pretend that game never happened...
GiffordPinchot
Worst champion.
minimoo
Looked it up. 13 this season for the edification of anyone who cares. Poor Eli. But Peyton's only training by two.
masimone
Hey but Peyton also has 36 TDs.
minimoo
No doubt he's one of the best, and I would never say otherwise. :) In fact, 11 INTs makes 36 TDs even more impressive.
bmullecker
Why haven't they replaced him yet? Because his last name is Manning? Dude's bad.
masimone
Luck. I'll will be surprised if they don't squeak into the playoffs, win three games and win the Super Bowl on the luckiest catch ever,
barrocoyote
Eli's always a rollercoaster, you have to take the good with the bad. Bottom line is he's had success, and their offense has other issues
Jurks
Especially this season. He's played pretty well for the most part. I think hes a great qb but shouldnt be included in any elite discussions.
somethingaboutTV
So, you guys don't appreciate that these are Rogers' only interceptions this year. He's a beast.
somethingaboutTV
Rodgers*
MetalHealth30
He's a goddam surgeon.
Luvvie
And the fact that they came from tips instead of right into the def's hands...
somethingaboutTV
To put this in perspective of a QB you may know, Peyton Manning has 11 interceptions on the season.
OohKillEm
As a broncos fan, he's been playing like shit lately. So many interceptions that weren't even close to a receiver :(
sideslick
As a Seahawks-fan, this makes me happy. Russell Wilson currently has 5 this season.
MyDogJake
and Eli averages 11 per game :)

He's no Sanchez.
masimone
(which is why he's so good)

I almost downvoted you but then read your second comment. Lucky.
Skynet24
None of them are even his fault. They're all tips that the receivers cauesd. How many other quarterbacks can say that? Zero.
wheredoesthetimego
Also all were broadcast on nbc. The super bowl is on nbc this year, watch out aaron!
captainspoof
Look up Colby Cameron's last couple seasons at Louisiana Tech, he set the NCAA record for no interceptions streak
wheredoesthetimego
I'll upvote you because la tech is doin some awesome stuff on offense the last few years.
Horseinakitchen
The first two were led a little too far but they all were catchable!
chrisjfinlay
Sometimes have to lead a receiver when they're tightly covered, keep it away from the corner or safety
NoExcusesPlayLikeAChampion
Jordy wasn't tightly covered at all.
feintx
The second one wasn't all that catchable.
JaviChes
Considering the pressure he was under, still a decent throw.
chrisjfinlay
Disagree. #17 (Adams?) pulled his left arm back when he should have made a diving attempt. Gave up on the play
broukpiece
Highest TD:INT ratio in the history of the NFL in 1st 100 games. Aaron Rodgers TD:INT is 4.06. Next best is McNabb with 2.13
BrettTheEskimo
He said first ONE HUNDRED GAMES. The link you provided is for QBs careers.
Icamehereforcatsandpuns
Actually, next is Brady with 2.76. Still an impressive margin. http://www.footballdb.com/leaders/career-passing-tdintratio
whitepolarbear
actually the stat is the 1st 100 games not overall: http://espn.go.com/blog/statsinfo/post/_/id/99681/top-stats-to-know-rodgers-100th-start
Icamehereforcatsandpuns
I stand corrected. Good call.
kainslasher
Rodgers has only played 107 games total....so the stats still apply rather well to his career....
whitepolarbear
I don't believe he started on all 107 games though
Emirates1952
Donovan McNabbb is not eve in the top 5. Rogers, Brady, Manning, Young, Rivers
jshimoskie
As an Eagles fan, only McNabb matters.
Emirates1952
What about marky mark superstar?
ImgurMadeMeChangeMyNameCauseItsDumb
He would have had to throw 49 interceptions and 0 touchdowns in his 100th game to NOT set the record.
adadsupreme
He could have gone 0-69 with 69 interceptions against ATL, and still had the best 100 game stretch ever.
TheyCallMeTom
Heh. "...69..."
ILoveMyBowelsButSometimesWhy
"Oh, I'm sorry! Did I hit you in the HANDS?!?" - Aaron Rodgers, probably.
Nebulosa
As a Packer's fan: HaHa Clinton-Dix.
AiurForHire
I knew he only had 3 this season but was unaware of how NOT HIS FAULT they were. Impressive.
thehammerismypenis
Well, that second one kinda is. And the first wasn't exactly on the mark to the receiver.
AiurForHire
Yeah but none were directly to a defender's hands.. all had been tipped before being caught. Though still bad
GooberSnotpants
I can't tell if in #3 the defender gets his hand in, but the first one?!
ZoranKnight
I had to log in to upvote this. I love sass
AbeFromanSausageKingOfChicago
Lead them a bit too far on the first 2 INTs. But the guy is unreal this year.

second one... maybe not, but 1 and 3... definitely... let us not forget he isn't RG III and wouldn't blame his team for this either =)

Rookie receiver didn't run his route (he stopped short for some reason).

DAAAAAUBLE CHECK!
MyLifeisaComplicatedDrinkingGame
"MRW I remember I'm fucking Olivia Munn tonight:
" - Aaron Rodgers, probably.
LoadedPotatoSkins
he discount double checked their receiving privileges after that.
TheLannistersSendALovelyFruitBasket
That rule should be changed. You can't fault the QB for an interception, at least not in #1 or #3
lmNOsuperman
In all fairness to the receiver, that 2nd one was nearly impossible to catch. But still impressive that his only 3 ints actually hit them.
fineletsdoeverythingyouwannado
"If you can touch it, you can catch it."
Romale
i'm not sure it was for him
FunWithMidgets
Adams stopped his route short
FallenJester
He stopped short?? That's my move!
TooManyDogsIsNotEnough
Davante Adams has played incredibly well. And not just "for a rookie". But that route was cut short. He runs through, he catches it.
FunWithMidgets
He has, this has probably been the best rookie draft class of all time.
FunWithMidgets
Receiver*
Horseinakitchen
Guys gonna be MVP!
DonaldGloverChildishGambino
I personally think it should be JJ Watt but I have no beef with Aaron winning.
wendellsanders
If JJ takes the Texans to the playoffs he'll have a much better chance, but if not, it's going to A-Rod for sure.
OneMillionSchruteBucks
As a Wisconsinite, I'd be thrilled with either choice (since Watt's a fellow Sconnie)
dubslaz
Watt would have a better chance if the Texans weren't 7-6. Hard to give it to a guy on a team that will probably miss the playoffs
raptorsgottanewalpha
The point is his only three interceptions are all due to receiver mistakes
flowmander
Is that last one just a really good play by the CB to knock the ball out, and not the receiver's fault? I can't really see
AuBoss
Well the first two are thrown a bit in front of the receiver in fairness. First one should still have been caught tho.
chrisjfinlay
Second one is a big-time catch if he makes it, but any other GB receiver would have come up with it.
chrisjfinlay
When a receiver is tightly covered, leading him gives him a better chance to make a reception - otherwise the corner/safety can make a play
AuBoss
I am well aware. Leading him by too much leads to a tipped ball however.
chrisjfinlay
As we saw in this case :P I would argue that 2 are definitely perfectly catchable, and the 2nd one requires a bit more effort.
AuBoss
First one a decent NFL receiver should catch. Second was a bad throw but with the pressure on him and throwing on the move understandable
IsItaBird
I have season tickets to the Packers, my favorite player is Tim Masthay and I never get to see him preform :-(

VulcanP90
The long snapper? Tim, is that you?
HowUnfortunate
This is why sometimes a WR should have to get the INT added to his stats, not the QB.
AndrewG723
Yeah the QB's job is just to get the ball to the receiver. If it hits the receiver in the hands then those ints are the receiver faults!
TheHiddenPlanet
As a packer fan, I was arguing that this year. And these gives perfectly show why.
RockMeSweetTonyDanza
I agree. Can't stand it when a receiver quits on their route and a QB throws it right to a defender.
MH136
Can't have a consistent definition. Similar reason why we need to get rid of this "uncatchable ball" bullshit for PI / defensive holding
SeanVsInternet
Very true!
FlatPlutoSociety
ESPN's QBR stat takes WR error into account. Too bad the equation is proprietary so we don't really know what it means.
masimone
I dunno. That second is pretty over thrown.
BrokenZen
So 1 should count against him? Pretty sure anyQB would happily take 35/1 TD/Int ratio.
masimone
You're right.
offdahook
Stats never tell the whole story. To whom would you mark the INT on a Hail Mary? It doesn't seem fair to me to blame the QB there, either.
YellobellyWeasel
Shouldn't you blame Mary?
LittleWhales
Does anyone else think it's weird how they keep track of passing touchdowns? The qb makes the pass, then it's totally up to the wr to score.
kerms
The QB has to make the decision of when and where to pass. Never is a single player responsible for a single play.
AuBoss
Yes and no. Ones with significant YAC or a great catch for sure.
feintx
Not if the pass was into the endzone which is very common. QB also has the find the open man. The receiver gets credit too.
brian17411
Yes, traditionally a pass goes from qb to receiver. Touchdowns matter for qbs because it shows ability to score, not just move the ball.
chrisjfinlay
It's almost as if they keep track of receivers touchdowns too...
MetalHealth30
It's a book keeping stat. Great quarterbacks have more touchdowns.
Schmedes
Not necessarily. A lot of the great QBs from years ago will have less TDs and yards than even meh QBs now.
MetalHealth30
That's true, but it's only one stat and comparing quarterbacks of 40 years ago to quarterbacks today is apples to oranges really.
Schmedes
I'm just saying TDs are not the way to determine great QBs. Look at Stafford.
UnrulyCactus
I totally get your point but as a person playing fantasy football with a great QB and so-so receivers, I'll take it for now.
LittleWhales
I have Luck and Manning, so same :D
worstsocialsecever
I'm sorry, are you claiming that Luck and Manning have "so-so receivers"??
LittleWhales
lol no just saying that I'm glad that passing touchdowns are recorded the way they are, because my qbs are good
