Indeed. We can't fit a cratein our car so we have a (crash tested) harness that fastens in the seatbelt. 90lbs of dog doesn't mess around.

Have you looked at the Allsafe safety harness? I don't know if it's big enough but we have a L and we can still expand it, so perhaps an XL?

Bought it online, it's an Allsafe Car Safety harness. Apparently they've been in Europe for years but are new to the U.S.
