Everyone told me not to get my degree in art, but after a lot of hard work, I have finally landed a job doing what I love most in life!

There's is a time when you have to cross some lines to get where you want to get!

12 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Plot twist: These are his paintings

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You should be using a matte paint! Otherwise at night, the light still reflects the lines of paint. You've made invisible ink parking.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I hate painted-over lines!

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It represents the duality of man and his struggle against the natural order, and it's on sale for $9.50/hour

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Heh, I worked construction while getting my art degree. Now I'm a graphic designer. Network harder, trust me.

12 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Fucking masterpiece.

12 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 3

Is that really necessary?

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

=_=

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, you can fuck something else, if you prefer.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I paint lines as well, but I'm about to get a management degree. Soon I'll be able to make other people paint the lines.

12 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

As someone with two undergrad business degrees who hasn't found a MGMT. position. AHHAHAHA HAH AHHA..... but seriously, chase your dreams.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You are living the dream.

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Do you take commissions?

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Obviously, OP's work is essentially working for a commission as opposed to doing art for it's sake alone.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Protip: a broom handle will screw into the end of the roller frame. No need to bust your back all day.

12 years ago | Likes 158 Dislikes 1

Notice the stick on the broom but not the roller. He is more adept at cleaning then painting. Fuck art, janitorial sanitation for you, bud.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

HA! Accurate and painful. lol

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's a struggling artist. Emphases on struggling.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

And would you look at that, a broom right there!

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Whoa, now. OP has an art degree, not an engineering degree. Let's not get ahead of ourselves with this technical stuff.

12 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 0

Also not a janitorial degree. What is this broom you speak of?

12 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

It's what we plebs refer to as a Reachy Sweepy.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ha. Elitists and their war on words.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're a flying machine, right?

It can be an art

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hope he's making each spot 2 feet smaller just to fuck with everyone.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hate when lines are painted over. It's confusing when there's a glare on the road, or when it's raining at night time.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i logged in just to downvote this

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Got a bachelor's degree from an art school in May. Making $35,000 salary doing what I went to school for now. You can do it too.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As someone working in the entertainment industry as a Concept Artist, fuck your hypocrisy. I bet my job is a lot more fun than many of yours

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

or you could be a downvote fairy on imgur...i mean that seems to be really trendy right now

12 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 9

For every downvote fairy, there will be an upvote fairy to counteract.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

if no one liked, then the outstanding viewing numbers must all be out of selfhate.

A paintbrush with detachable human feet. Bonus!!

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

10 minutes later, perfect forge of Mona Lisa.

12 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

HA, i get it. Cause that's not what an art degree is for

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

but might I add, you painted over those yellow lines with the finesse and patience only a true artist could possess. truly exquisite.

12 years ago | Likes 436 Dislikes 4

True artist? he didn't even keep the paint inside the lines!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

word

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I felt his performance was rather shallow and pedantic.

12 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 1

I agree, yes, shallow AND PEDANTIC.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Though I will admit, his brushwork *is* fruity and precocious.

12 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

hm, yes, shallow and pedantic.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Mmm yes, shallow and pedantic indeed.

12 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Plot twist: He isn't actually employed there and his job is to create chaos through parking lot anarchy.

12 years ago | Likes 1669 Dislikes 6

the first rule of parking lot anarchy is YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT PARKING LOT ANARCHY http://www.operatorchan.org/t/src/140560158094.jpg

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

tee hee. Anarchy

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Double plot twist: the reason for said anarchy was due to a mission given to him by Tyler Durden

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That seems right to me

12 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

I know this because they normally remove the markings with a thermal lance thingy that makes a shitloada noise

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think around here, people would park in exactly the same places and nothing would change.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is that art, though?

12 years ago | Likes 79 Dislikes 0

Some say what he is doing is chaos, others call it art.

12 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

If the point was to get a reaction, yes. If the point was to document how people reacted to a lack of guidelines, it would be science.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

this comment is art.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, you know what they say... Trolling is a art

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

A modern interpretation of the classical greek Sisyphus myth. It really speaks to the punishment of today's youth for conforming to society

12 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

Sisyphus sounds like a sissy

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

susyphus sounds like an STD

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

After all the times he has pushed a rock up a hill, I wouldn't want to call him that to his face.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Now thatÅ› art!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rather, he's moving the lines six inches closer to each other. Just enough so people can park between the lines, but not open their doors.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Slow down there, satan.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's actually an old Simpsons gag. Bart did that to the school parking lot, and jammed the faculty staff in the parking lot.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Google has the weirdest team building exercises.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Seems legit. I'll buy it.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of course he's not employed, he has an Art Degree

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Strangely this was my first thought, then it occurred to me maybe the lot owner actually wants the lines blacked out.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's probably gonna be a lot of hipstery people who will consider that art.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Simpsons did it! "Bart: The beauty of it is, each parking space is a mere one foot narrower–indistinguishable 1/2

One cannot create chaos through anarchy, anarchy is order...

12 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yes, you understand. Thank you.
