Best 15 days holiday in a while

From Nantes I went to Paris, Troyes, Luxembourg (the city first, then a bit around the country), Rodez, Clermont-Ferrand, climbed atop the Puy-de-Dôme, then Parthenay for a balfolk where I learned to dance polka, mazurka, scottische, waltz, and went on from 10pm to 4am two days in a row.

Here is a map for non-French imgurians. It may not look a lot, especially for Americans to whom distances can mean little in a country so huge, but to me it was a big deal.

My friends call this building in Luxembourg City the "Hogwarts Tower". There is an picture on google maps with the tower covered in snow that makes it look even more like the School of Witchcraft And Wizardry. Unfortunately it is a bank, so no magic here except maybe making money appear and disappear?

There were people paragliding over my head as I lay in the grass on the Puy-de-Dôme, a sleeping volcano overlooking the surrounding volcano range. It was breathtaking (also the walk from the bus station through the forest is a little less than 2 hours long and really steep, but it makes it all the more worth it) and incredibly relaxing. I hadn't felt that much at peace in a long long time.
