Thanks buzzfeed!

As a physiotherapist, I appreciate these all being spine-friendly exercises.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's good to go low in your squats, but that guy bottoms out and loses tension. Not good form.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A proper diet and some cardio helps too.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'd recommend against the jump-squat and the walkout until you're in good shape already, but yeah - not a bad list.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Half of these I use as sex positions

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So when are we going to be able to organize our favorite images into folders. I need my 'funny stuff' separated from "fitness I won't do"...

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Circle is a shape

*sphere

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Spider lunge" looks like a fubar version of a "mountain climber," which can be bad for your body if you don't use perfect form.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

These dont hit all the muscle groups

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

hold my beer

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

how long do i need to plank for the abs to appear?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The walkout looks hard, but my dad made it look so easy..

11 years ago | Likes 184 Dislikes 1

so sorry tyron

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Joke so dark it lost its dad too.

11 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

Don't worry, there's no muscles in your back

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

these workouts will not help you get lean and fit. it's better than nothing but to be real with you guys...this shit is trash :l

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

yea i really should get some ecercises in shape. they are totally out of shape.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fucking bullshit. That will not get you in any shape, it will at best stretch your sore ass from all the PC sitting a bit. If you want (1)

active sport, such as martial arts, football etc. Those are decent too, although not as effective. Dont do that soccermom bullshit in the OP

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

Reddit can't hear you guys. The imgur version had meat at the end.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Pull ups / Chin ups needed

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I miss that delicious steak

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Damn, i've been referring to the "glute bridge" by the wrong name for years. I always thought it was "cowgirl" or "reverse cowgirl." TMKY!!

11 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 0

I would def do squats on that guy while he does glute bridges beneath me. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

updoot

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We alwayw called it the jane fonda yet i have no idea why

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The guy's smile does look suspicious.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

"( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)"

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What does it do?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Works your glutes.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hmmm, it's in the name, huh... =D

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You don't need any of these. There are way more efficient exercises out there, and it all depends on what your goals are.

11 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 10

Asshandle - suggestions have to back up shitty comments. I may be a hypocrite, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why would you comment on something that is 21 months old?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

EVERY single workout routine on imgur, someone says this. People find something they want to try, and then they come to the comments (1/2)

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

and everybody is saying "no dis wun sux!!!!111!!". Its incredibly discouraging to someone who just needs to find a routine and stick to it.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

As someone who is looking for a workout that works for me, I am one of these people.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These movements are the core of a very successful routine my trainer uses. If you don't have weights these are good exercises.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I want to tone/tighten my belly and my bum, I'm a woman. What do you suggest?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

5/5 I'm no expert, but these should be good exercises. You should do some research on the exercises for correct form,so you don't get injured

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you've got a bit of fat on your belly, you need to get rid of that,so cardio is a must here,in addition to a healthy and balanced diet.1/?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

4/? Bum: Running helps out quite a bit, so consider that. Squats; deadlifts; weighted lunges; leg press; squats on balance board/pillow etc.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you do the exercises in this post correctly, keep honest count of what you eat, and run a 500 cal/day deficit, you WILL tone up quickly.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never only take in 500 calories while working out. That's the silliest thing I've ever heard

2/? Good ab exercises: Crunches on pilates ball with weight; leg raises while on your back; russian twists; plank; side plank; etc.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Don't say that. These are great workouts for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. They are a great way to keep your body active. 1/?

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

They may not be good for gaining muscle or losing a large amount of weight but they are helpful. Saying things like that could leave 2/3

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

people thinking these perfectly good workouts are worthless even though they are not.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Yeah. I always hate when workouts are posted on here, I had even post one that got to the fp, and theres all these coments saying they're 1/

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"Useless" and "you should be doing this or that". The overall good thing about imgur is that everyone has and can share their opinion 2/

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ok, I know them. Am I in shape, yet?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

These are not the best exercises. That would be retarded to think there are best exercises for everyone. That being said...1

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Pushups are great. Planks are better on the elbows. Glute bridges are good but extremely novice. Spider lunges are basically planks, 2

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

plank taps are just planks (again), squats are AMAZING, side lunges are a waste of time for strength training, squat jumps are also great 3

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jumping lunges are pretty advanced and not better than jumping squats, that is not a single leg deadlift, its an RDL, and two legs would 4

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

be better for lifting weight, or just a regular deadlift, reverse lunges are just lunges (idiots) and walkouts are JUST FUCKING PLANKS.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

i really, REALLY want to get in shape this year, but a Cookout just opened by my school, and it's hard to resist that $5 tray

11 years ago | Likes 102 Dislikes 2

Cookout is the best.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Cookout is the real deal. I workout just to get a double burger, hush puppies, and fries

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

1. The bbq plate 2. The small cheeseburgers 3. The corn dogs 4. The spicy chicken wrap

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Getting in shape = exercise and food. Losing weigth = Low calorie intake + exercise. You still need plenty of food to build up your body.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

obviously yeah. i need a lot of food to fill all 6'5" of me, buuuut just maybe not so many double burgers lol

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Armstrong?! Another Georgia school lol

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I live in North Carolina. I have no less than eleventeen Cookouts within 15 mminutes of me

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also live in NC, can confirm.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think that stuff can be called food, it's mostly fat & junk. Switch to milk & veggies or something

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

had a fruit cup and a grilled chicken sandwich for dinner tonight so that's a start!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're food is so reasonably priced and delicious.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I believe in you. Good luck on your travels. You will be glad when you look back. Trust me.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where do you go to school? One opened recently in Salisbury, MD and its amazing

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

KSU in GA. but yeah, it's a delicious place

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kennesaw?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

hell yes

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Serious question. Is it worth a 2 hour trip to Norfolk VA to eat there? The menu looks delicious!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Two hour drive? Nah. But if you're in the area, totally. It's exclusively a take out place though, so don't expect a sit down restaurant.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yeah like boccs said. not worth the journey, but if one opens up close by and you have $6 to spend, hit it up

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cookout kept me alive for four months when I was unemployed... so much food for so cheap. ~<3

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

KSU??

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yuuuup

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Omg you live in Atlanta

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Cookout is a NC chain

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Huh. Didn't know they started in NC

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the website is www.cookoutnc.com haha

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not exclusively. They are spreading.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

not exclusively but originally. most are in NC.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope. Have one at my school in Georgia

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Is still mostly NC. My point is that assuming this person is in GA because there's a Cookout is silly because most of them are NC

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I don't really think so. Cookouts have been going up like crazy in Georgia and they are going to big schools, so it isn't bad to assume GA

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it originated and its headquarters are still in the Old North STate

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not disagree with that, simply stating they are outside of NC as well.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

DO YOU GO TO TECH!?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No I actually live in Kansas.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

KSU kid here yeah. though i know they opened one by tech too

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I live right off campus. Who be you

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

i'm a junior majoring in CS, who be you

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What about a proper diet?

11 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 5

that helps too

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Ye, but that's only 80% of the work

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I've lost 50 lbs before and I found that an exercise I enjoy worked way faster and my diet changed by itself because I craved different food

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Super important. These things might help build muscle and lose a little flab, but abs are made in the kitchen

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Thank you.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I eat what I want, and a lot of it too, still my fat percentage is below 12%; because I bike 34 kilometers a work day. Excersise > diet.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 8

Well it might be that way for you but it's different for overweight people. They're not going to lose all the fat because of these exercises

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is true, but all I meant to say is it is more important to have a good cardio/workout you do regularly than to diet.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Also true :) I just don't like this kind of posts claiming you only have do this and you will get in shape...

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can do 50 sit-ups every day and it won't give you abs

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

None of these involve pizza... so no.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Sorry, I witnessed you downvote fairy the whole thread so -1 +awareness

11 years ago | Likes 0 Dislikes 3

haha are you serious? She weighs the same as a duck http://youtu.be/zrzMhU_4m-g

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And did you just call someone a witch?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

What? lol

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Your fallacious argument, it's funny. Because no one else could've downvoted AND not commented. No one does that right? @_@

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've already given my one click judgement. You're allowed to give yours too and we all live happily ever after, don't we?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

you witnessed me downvote an entire thread? Well this is some amazing new technology that you can SEE me do something I didn't do.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I saw all of them go down, refreshed, and the only new comment--out of less than 10--was you. This new technology is called the F5 button.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Ok you're either crazy or very young so... I'm going to go now. bye forever.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What was fixed?

11 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 4

there was a pic of a steak at the end

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You see, that's what OP is still trying to figure out. He just knows that it's fixed.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

it doesn't have that last image of steak

11 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

That was the best part!

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Were people upset about the steak?

11 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Yeah I think it was a big misteak to put it there in the first place.

11 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Reading your username made me cringe so fucking bad. Touché.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I WOULD HAVE BEEN BLISSFULLY UNAWARE! *Cradles jewels protectively*

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
