My DM fudged a roll tonight so I wouldn't die. 

I couldn't say anything at the table but with the subtle nod I gave him and the nod he gave me, I knew he could've killed me right then and there, but no. The roll was fudged, and I get to keep playing in the best game of Dungeons and Dragons I've ever seen put together.
