Trumps' funeral should either be a) completely ignored, no laying in state, no half-mast flags, no nothing just completely ignore that he ever existed, b) no be attended by any former or current President, c) attended and each President goes "We've always been told to never speak ill of the dead" and then just turn their backs and walk away or d) go up there and just repeatedly list every civil and criminal case trump has been involved in.

The Bushs walked right past Trump and didn't acknowledge him, except that W stopped in front of Trump to shake Obama's hand. The Clintons walked around to the other side of the row to enter and ignored him.

I'm glad that Trump has finally decided to be the bigger man, and has backtracked on his pledge to remove the flags from "half-mast" (the nautical term for "half-staff", which the "mast" is more commonly used as an insult related to erectile disfunction, which is probably why it was on his mind.) during his inauguration, so that he can pay respects to a truly noble and great man like former President Jimmy Carter. No, just kidding. He didn't do that. It is why he confused the terms though.

People blamed the hostages not being freed on him, but he actually ordered a full-scale rescue operation. However, a sandstorm clogged all the helicopter engines causing them to fail. He then went before the American and took full responsibility for the mission's lack of success, even though it was through no fault of his own. It's called being presidential.

I have a lot of respect for Jimmy Carter, but that rescue operation was not anywhere near as well-planned as it should’ve been. I’m not saying Carter should have known how to design one, but if he had realized the scale of military rescues in Vietnam, I think he would’ve realized that what was planned wasn’t enough.

He wasn't an expert in military evacuations, but simultaneously should have been so despite your acknowledgement that he shouldn't necessarily be. A president relies on their staff, if their staff make mistakes the president should also be held accountable, and rather than deflect blame he lived up to that standard. But that's not enough. I guess to you, anyone who is not an omnipotent perfect being should be criticized even past the grave.
