If y'all have any questions feel free to ask I've been lifting off of these charts for awhile now and I'm happy with the results I have now. I believe in y'all!

Deadlift absent

Instructions unclear: I skinned myself.

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Favoriting to never actually do.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is literally in every municipal owned workout facility I've ever been to. Lots of private ones too. +1

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Bench Press, Overhead Press, Deadlifts, and Squats are the only exercises you need.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So true. This crap here is for advanced bodybuilders, not for anyone looking to become stronger

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh look, instructions for ants

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That's alot of muscles in the legs. I think I'll skip.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hell yeah, awesome post. I was just gonna take some protein powder and sleep but this looks whey more effective.

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Wheeeeey mode

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stop posting these, all these complex exercises aren't going to help a beginner much, look up starting strength or stronglifts

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Stronglifts ftw! Went from a 145lb squat to 300+ (naturally lol) in 8ish months

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So true. Ive actually been foibg these exercises for 2 years and got shitty results. Bodybuilding routines just dont work for most naturals.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

A repost without zoom? Yep, this belongs on the front page. Good work, OP.

11 years ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 3

Proof that nobody has actually the intend to work out. It's like catching Kony with a like&share.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Should I do an exercise post? I've been doing this stuff for fifteen years and have written a few dozen routines and diets for people.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Please to God do so these people can actually know how to work out.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Do they even lift?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most beginners/novices don't recognize that they can see good results with just the basic compound exercises (and others added later).

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

will favourite for when I get my fatass back in the gym

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

They're unreadable. Soooo.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So, later today?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

sadly no -_-

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why not? (thats the question that got me started. And the hot neighbour chick.. )

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What is this, a workout for ants?!?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's made for Ant-Man. Duh

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or Weaver from Antz: "You pick the dirt up, you move it, lots of reps, you exercise the arms and the thorax!"

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lift them up...then put them down and rest..when done lift them up and put them back!!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And as ever, don't warm up.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

WHY U NO ZOOM?!

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

As a strength coach, plz stop posting these.

11 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 2

We'll take em down, one downvote at a time.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Because many of those movements are a waste of time. Also the instructions given in these aren't that good. And every exercise isn't (1/2)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

appropriate for everyone, at least initially. Reasons might be muscular, neural etc. Individualisations is the key. (2/2)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you have any recommended mass building things like this that you approve of?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lots of recommendations, but they wont fit into 140 characters. It depends a lot about your specific needs. PM if in need of specifics.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Squat, deadlift, press. It's all you need

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Plus cardio and a good diet

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I found it!

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Exactly (though pull ups and chin ups are good too), once you have a foundation, you can always add in isolation movements.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

I was looking for this!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do people just keep upvoting this because the pictures are pretty? The text is completely indecipherable.

11 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 0

Lol I was just thinking this... +1

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It has less upvotes than it does favorites, meaning the only upvotes it gets are from people who favorite it

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're farming "favorites"

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dumbbell pullover *drops weight on face*

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This is exactly what's wrong with "training" today. 1 sheet for legs, but 2 sheets for arms which are trained while doing 3 of the others...

11 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 4

Nothing wrong with a little glamour workouts getting someone off their ass...and if you are doing all of those leg workouts, your fine.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously. You're riding off "fave and forget" points where people fave without even checking the goods. The unreadable, 2small goods.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Ok i favd, how long do i have to wait until i can see a difference?

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

In general, you'll start noticing results in a month if you work out 3x a week for an hour. It will be visible to others after about 3mo.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your first workout is on your eyes to figure out all what all the text says. Godspeed.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Favouriting this I'd not the work out. Favouriting it each time it hits the frontpage is the workout.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Errybody wanna be a bodybuilda, but don't nobody wanna lift this HEAVY. ASS. WEIGHT!!

11 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Church.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bro, u even lift bro ?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ain't notin' but a peanut!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The guy could use a tan

11 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

...and a face...and some skin..

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Damn y'all peoples is picky.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Stop impossible body standards! Regular men have skin!

11 years ago | Likes 979 Dislikes 7

And a face

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This dude doesn't even have a face and he's more appealing to women than I am... He's not even real!!!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And a face

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Come on! Everyone knows having skin is sooooo 2014!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Give me ten minutes, I'll fix that for you

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And bacon with a side of whiskey.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lolllll

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whatchu' looking at smoothskin?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

NE!! Repeatedly!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Nose exhale?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. :-)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Somebody post the picture of the clay statue holding its own skin!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know the image you are talking about, and i got bad news for ya... that isn't clay... neither is the skin.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i couldn't think of what it was called and just said something closeish..

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a plastinated cadaver.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is that... a real body? I would believe it.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The writing is too small. I just painted my muscles all the different colours. I feel fitter

11 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

More fit*

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Hey low voc paint is expensive!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

WOW. As a regular man without skin I find this highly offensive. From me to you sir

11 years ago | Likes 157 Dislikes 0

I love you! +1

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

These have been reposted so much, BUT STILL NOT READABLE. THANKS FOR NOTHING. HAVE A GOOD DAY, SIR!

11 years ago | Likes 592 Dislikes 10

You have to pay if you want these specific images readable. If you'd be genuinely interested though, you'd google the work-outs separately.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These just aren't necessary. There are thousands of better fitness resources available that have video showing correct form etc.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

The reason for the size is that the full sized originals cost money and nobody wants to buy them.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Some people live here and everything is a repost. I come once or twice a day for 5 or 10 minutes usually and I've never seen this.

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

Seriously! How the fuck do you post the posters from the gym and make the front page?!

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was just about to write this. Fuck this repost and it's upvotes it generates every damn time.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Plus these posters are outdated and are missing some of the most basic & important lifts

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

ok i thought it was just me clicking aimlessly on the image so it became legible to my kind. these posts are very old. full of anger.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

or, Or, OR... you see the name of the workout and look it up

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, why is this even upvoted? It's totally unreadable. "Favourite-and-forget" kind of post, I guess...

11 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 1

Skipped directly to the forget part.... Wait, what are we talking about?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

or go by the pictures for what the workout is doing? i can understand each workout and plan to add them to my current ones.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can feel better by upvoting it. It's almost like a workout.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I think his blank face is funny so I upvote for that...

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It hit the snow ball point, "oh this is on the front page?" :ignore content and upvote and move along:

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No deadlifts? What is this shit?

11 years ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 6

It's exactly that - shit. These aren't actual fitness advice, they're just point farms.

11 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

There is no reason to be alive if you can't do deadlift.

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I was thinking the same thing! I was like, "but deadlifts are my favorite... :("

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also a lot of these exercises aren't the best, which I'm pretty sure is said every time one of these is reposted.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@OP Please eliminate the following exercises: upright rows, dumbbell fly, leg extensions, behind the neck press. Thank you.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

There is nothing wrong with these if you have mobility and do them with proper form.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is the deadlift the one where you pick up something heavy then set it back down?

11 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

No, it's where you lift the dead.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, it's where you lift the dead.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's exactly right

11 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Just make sure to do it woth good form or you'll kill your low back

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's why you don't use your lower back. You use your hips to rise and thrust.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And then pick it back up again

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Sometimes.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ultil you cant do it anymore

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

https://youtu.be/J3kqfuGHbeI?t=177 Third minute in if it doesn't auto start there

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can you tell us more about dead lifting? It looks cool but I'm 83% sure I'll just throw out my back

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Take it easy untill you're confident. Ask gymbros who've been lifting longer than you if they want to watch you, 1/2

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Start low keep an eye on your back staying straight as a board and you should be fine

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Is this something I should avoid if I slipped a disc a 2 months ago in a car accident?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably. Or at least don't try to DL with anywhere near heavy weight. Also talk to your doctor, IDK where you are in the healing process.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

keep ass down, chest out- lift light work your way to heavier- should actually help prevent your back from going out- yadda yadda.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Work on your flexibility first, particularly hamstrings in my case. That goes for squats too.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

the ones who look like they wrestle bears for a hobby, not the pretty curlbros, and post some form checks on /r/fitness or /r/formcheck 2/2

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As an athlete & fitness enthusiast for my entire life, definitely do some research on proper form for a deadlift before you attempt one.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're getting good advice but here's a key point, learn from qualified fitness folk. Learn correct, start light, be safe, build up = gainz

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sauce ? - can't read the writing.

11 years ago | Likes 127 Dislikes 2

pls

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's no free sauce for these particular pictures that would be readable. Of course, there're free sources for all the individual workouts

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Try and look for Strength Training Anatomy by Frederic Delavier, i found a pdf on the Bay a few years ago. Very informative for beginners.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You are not supposed to be able to read them. These are previews from the company that makes these posters.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh sauce would be amazing please!

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Yea it's a physical chart, I have it actually xD

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They are hella expensive...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tomato or chicken sauce?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

yes

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Brown

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not worth reading. Go squat, deadlift, dip or bech and chin or row, and you have a good training for untill you know enough to make your own

11 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 10

You've just covered most of 5/3/1 and Starting Strength, two very good workout books. Nice.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You've been downvoted, but you are 100% correct. These get reposted every few weeks, and they are seriously over-complicated for beginner.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yeah. Barbells are the shit. People should use them.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I find these strangely overkill. I've never used weights or equipment; I've just spammed pushups, situps and warmups, and I already got pecs

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For those who want to start exercising, is it really necessary to tell them to do more than the bare basics?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
