You can get local anaesthesia, that's the standard procedure. No pain, but you're fully awake and ready to go right after.

i had 4 wisdom teeth removed at once with local anesthesia i had the doctor straddle me trying to pull 1 of the teeth out

smart move! i didn't think about it until i tried to eat something later that day and then it hit me you can't eat :(

Wow, did he at least split the tooth first? One of mine had to go that way and it took several attempts, but ended really well.

it split then shattered in my mouth once he finished it was fine apart from the fact i couldn't really eat and took about 8 days ..1/2
