No one ever says "Which song by Chumbawumba?"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

What an asshole, she likely doesn’t get a lot of free time with kids so to ruin it like this is just shitty and childish

… I get knocked down
But I get up again
You're never gonna keep me down
I get knocked down
But I get up again
You're never gonna keep me down

At least there is good music.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I used to do the same with, well you know what song.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did this with Cotton Eye Joe...

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I would be pumped to hear that on repeat.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd been married long time ago. Where did you come from, where did you go?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's a decent prank, but I mean, is your wife not allowed to go out, buddy?

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

I used to do shit like that all the time with my ex wife when she went to the bar. My go to song was always Stevie Wonder "I Just Called to Say I Love You"

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Sounds like she hated it

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

She loved it. We were getting along back then. She left me for a guy who appeared to offer more security and she completely upended and ruined my life doing it. Now I'm doing much better and she's totally miserable. Good. Fuck her.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

"Amnesia" off that same album was also a bop and it's always bummed me out a little that it never got the same attention.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Giving it a listen now, thank you.
I also learned that they have songs like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLkPwxcIji0 👍👍

I hope she finds a better partner soon.

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 14

Sounds like she already found a pretty good partner???

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 6

It sounds like you're intentionally misunderstanding, but in case you're being genuine: if you ever end up in a partnership where the two of you have kids, you should both be good teammates and support your partner getting some relaxation time with their friends.

Sabotaging your partner's social life and break time is worse than petty; it's controlling and destructive. If this post isn't just a joke (prob a joke) this guy is being a burden and worse.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 16

I don't think you have any friends. Like, actual, genuine friends. Because genuine friendship requires a little antagonism from time to time, and if you can't (playfully) antagonize the friends in your life, there's some issues with the relationship you're conveniently forgetting.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Imagine thinking joking around with and good-natured pranks with your partner is "controlling and destructive". Touch grass and have IRL social interactions with people.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Do you like the sort of person that cheers "It wAS jUSt a jOKe" after being mean but funny?

Do you want to be the sort of person that gleefully joins the winning side of a dogpile instead of soberly considering the actual words they're actually replying to which--AFAIK--you didn't consider or maybe thoroughly read?

I hope not. Maybe come back to this later and think about it. You seem pretty cool normally. You're better than the unconsidered and condescending "touch grass" response you gave.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

If you're throwing a shit-fit because someone put a song on loop for a laugh, then *you* are the mean partner. You also shouldn't throw around words like 'condescending' after a comment like that.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

"It sounds like you're intentionally misunderstanding" Oh they're not the ones intentionally misunderstanding. Get off your high horse.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I hope this is staged or whatever.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

Why?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Because it’s mean. Can’t you see that?!

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 7

Seems like a harmless prank

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ruining your wife’s evening. Hilarious.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 8

If you wonder why you struggle with relationships, this is your sign

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How is it ruining her evening? It's just background music

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, because there's nothing like resenting your spouse having a fun night out with friends to build a solid relationship.

I would absolutely crack up if my husband did this. Like, that's some hilarious, grade A harmless prank shit there. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt that he actually knows his wife well enough to intuit that she'd feel the same way.

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

I think it might be like a joke

2 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 2

That's one take. Another take is there's nothing like encouraging your spouse to enjoy themselves because you support and love them, but also both having a great sense of humour and enjoying teasing and playing jokes on one another.
But sure, let's assume it's the negative one based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

The tone of this response is 👌

2 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 5

His choice of words definitely implies he’s trying to garner sympathy for himself. “My wife left me home alone with the kids to go out drinking with her friends” strikes a completely different tone than “my wife went out with her friends”.

I read that as factual. Sets the scene for him being bored and then going to have fun with jukebox. "Home alone with the kids" is a common enough phrase, and sets up the joke

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

Am Dad. Dude sounds a touch of a douche but nothing that'd tell me he's for sure an ass hat based only on this.

Maybe I'll give him 60/40 odds of being a man child. Not enough info.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And here I assumed they worked based on a local network. Can you really play stuff at places you've previously connected to?

2 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

I don't know why, every time I was stopped at one of two lights I would play Justin Bieber's Baby with the Touch Tunes jukebox app for over a year. Call me maybe was a different thing I had going on somewhere else.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes, in the app you can choose literally anywhere in the world where there is an active touch tunes machine. Same with AMI. It just will default to the one nearest to you but you can select anywhere.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

No, but I'll tell you something that you CAN do: edit a text message template :)

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 12

Other users are saying "Yes", so editing a text message image seems unlikely.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can actually.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yes, you absolutely can play at any of them. Pull it up right now and you can pick from whichever establishment that you would like.

2 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Oh, you don't even have to visit the place, first? Haha. That's... powerful informarion to have, thank you :D

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Sounds like one lucky bar gets to listen to the entire Saint Anger album

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Boy, a lot of people didn’t like Knocked Loose on Kimmel the other night, well, they’re about to learn to like them.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Last I checked they have William Hung's album. It is extremely bad. People WILL be upset if you play four songs in a row.
