the floor if something was dropped. Any little crumb, she gets. Plus she steals from our other cat, even though we watch as much as we 2/3
can. It's very very difficult. She acts like she's starving. And she's never been one to play, even when she was thin. It's impossible 3/4
to get her moving. She's on diet food, it doesn't help. I feel really bad, but I don't know what else to do. I've researched it and I'm 4/5
doing everything that's suggested. I'm at the end of the suggestions and she's still big. Not like this cat, but overweight for sure. 5/5

If it's a male, they have a tendency to balloon if they're neutered after maturity - hormonal imbalances. I have one in a similar boat.
Mine was neutered. He eats special food and we work him with a pole toy. He'll jump till he falls asleep on the floor.
