Could be '16 or '17. The bike is unchanged. Though if it was the 2017 Kawasaki would have probably given him the new zx10rr to use on track.

My best guess is it's a 16 considering its got an aftermarket exhaust on it. To have a 17 with aftermarket parts on it in public doubtful.

Also the patch on the leathers is for the MC company he owns. You can pick up one of his bikes for $78k. Pretty sure he can afford new gear.

If you closely you will see the rubber has been doing some laps. iIt not clean and smooth as a new tyre would be.

I think that's just the two different compounds showing. That looks like a michelin power supersport evo to me, a dual compound tire.
